How to block an obnoxious avatar without using the 'Ignore' function.

1. Using Firefox, install the add-on adblock plus "For annoyance free web surfing!"

Once this is installed, you're only three clicks from freedom.

2. With the plug-in enabled, right-click the offensive and/or triggering image and choose "Adblock Plus: block image" from the context menu.

3. Set a new filter with these settings: Blocking Filter (default) and Pattern: Custom (bottom choice). The URL to the image is already filled in.

4. Enjoy your reading. You aren't affected by that particular example of bad taste until the avatar is changed, unless you visit RignInt on a different browser or computer.
