Interesting to see this happen in Valdosta GA of all places. This is the city where:
- Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) investigator Ray Lemme was suicided after investigating corruption involving Florida state house speaker Tom Feeney and spy front Yang Enterprises which he had traced "all the way to the top" (at least as high as Jeb Bush) and was about to publicize
- A purported child trafficking ring operated with the complicity of local politicians, businessmen, and police. It was involved with the agricultural industry, including Coggins Farms which was known to be trafficking illegal immigrants for forced labor and prostitution. Lemme had allegedly followed a lead involving fake Social Security numbers used by Chinese spies that lead him to this ring, which is why he was in Valdosta in the first place. Also purportedly tied to this Valdosta trafficking ring was John Couey, the confessed and convicted murderer of 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford (though it appears that many others were also complicit in what happened to her, including her child porn-possessing father Mark Lunsford who forged a good relationship with missing children's movement figures such as likely CIA asset Hank Asher and organized crime figure John Monahan underling John Walsh).
- Harmon Tucker, a Council Bluffs IA school administrator who appeared on John DeCamp's list of suspicious deaths tied to the Franklin scandal, was found on the city's outskirts shot dead execution style. The location where he was found was purportedly a ranch where Franklin perps Harold Andersen and Nick O'Hara would go hunting. An analysis of the GBI file on Tucker's death reveals that this has got to be one of the weirdest murder cases ever. Highlights include: Tucker being accused of pedophilia by his murderer Walter Gerald Ellis; Ellis himself appearing to be a cross-country serial killer with a Programmed to Kill-esque background; the fact that Ellis's arresting officer in Nevada, Vinten Hartung, was later found to be a pedophile himself; some other weird suspects prior to Ellis including a man named Harley Whilden who stole a car from Valdosta police chief Charlie Spray's niece on the night of the murder, admitted to driving in the CCC Road area where Tucker was found dead, and came back extremely nervous with unexplained injuries, blood, and dirt. Chief Spray's brother decided not to press charges against Whilden?
- Police chief Charlie Spray had a long history of controversy. In 1986 he was named police chief after having risen through the ranks of the department, even though 4 years prior he was accused of stealing from the department before the charges were dropped. In 1994, his department covered up evidence that one of their own, Maurice Cassotta, had murdered his ex-girlfriend Donya Jones and their 2-year-old son Seth Cassotta, essentially sabotaging the prosecution's ability to get a guilty verdict. Spray and multiple other high-level VPD officers lost their jobs in the fallout, after which Spray was again indicted on charges of stealing police equipment, and this time was convicted. A local rumor held that Spray took bribes to let brothels remain open and that he had molested two underage girls. Might as well also throw in that he was a Freemason.
How much parapolitical weirdness can there been in a small Georgia city near the Florida border? Apparently quite a bit.

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) -- Georgia authorities have arrested 14 Lowndes County men who are accused of communicating with children online and then traveling to meet them for sex.
Among those charged is Keith Walters, dean of the College of Science & Mathematics at Valdosta State University.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the arrests are the result of a four-day undercover investigation planned for months and coordinated between nearly 20 agencies.
GBI says all of the suspects, ranging from 24 to 57 years old, traveled from areas around South Georgia with the intent to meet children for sex.
While the suspects believed they were communicating with a minor online, they were in fact talking to undercover investigators.
In some cases, investigators say, the suspects also sent obscene or lewd content, or requested pornographic images from the undercover investigators posing as children.
About half of the exchanges involved websites used for dating, socializing, or even ones used for classified advertisements.
Valdosta State sent the following statement to WCTV:
