Achmed Huber & the Avalon Gemeinschaft

Postby albion » Sun Oct 02, 2005 10:18 pm

"the religious aspects of the movement are a disguise"

Are they? I would say yes and no...

Quote:
Achmed Huber, The Avalon Gemeinschaft, and the Swiss "New Right"

by Kevin Coogan

Achmed Huber is not only a devout Muslim and supporter of political Islam; he also a leading member of the avowedly pagan Swiss-based Avalon Gemeinschaft ("Avalon Society" also known as the Avalon Kreis or Avalon Circle). Avalon's estimated 150 members include aging Swiss SS volunteers, youthful far right fanatics, and died-in-the wool Holocaust deniers. Each summer solstice this motley mélange of characters journeys deep into the Swiss woods to ritually worship the pre-Christian Celtic gods of ancient Europe. They then spend the rest of the year bemoaning the Enlightenment and denying the Holocaust.

[...] Starting in 1987, members of the Swiss branch of the Thule Seminar took part in a pagan gathering around the Celtic holiday Lugnasad, along with a delegation from the WJS and various neo-Nazis from across Europe. In 1988 the Swiss branch of the Thule Seminar, along with the Circle Proudhon, organized seemingly scholarly-sounding talks on topics like "The History of the Templers and "The Heritage of the Indo-Europeans" on the grounds of Geneva University.

[...] It seems particularly ironic that a self-proclaimed Muslim like Huber would be associated at all with any "New Right" grouping, even with a pale parody of the New Right, as Avalon appears to be. Huber, after all, is a self-proclaimed devotee of Islam, an utterly monotheistic religion. In the New Right canon, monotheism has always been portrayed as the original sin. This has been so ever since de Benoist identified the Enlightenment‚s universalistic values as a secular extension of a monotheist worldview; namely the Judeo-Christian tradition which Islam claims to complete.

New Right theorists insist that they embrace paganism and the pagan notion of a universe of pluralistic gods precisely out of their desire to dethrone monotheistic thought structures which they see as essential to the future elimination of American "monoculture." That a fanatical Islamic monotheist like Huber could spend each summer solstice out in the woods worshiping Celtic gods is one more bizarre twist to his already bizarre life.

www.oraclesyndicate.org/p...8-02_1.htm

Another by Kevin Coogan

Postby albion » Mon Oct 03, 2005 1:39 pm

Just found another information-dense article by Kevin Coogan, from 2002.

Quote:
Report On Islamists, The Far Right, And Al Taqwa

The first part of this report will primarily summarize information from an important new book by Johannes and Germana von Dohnanyi entitled Schmutzige Geschäfte und Heiliger Krieg: Al-Qaida in Europa (Dirty Business and Holy War: Al-Qaida in Europe) published by Pendo Verlag (Zurich, 2002). The von Dohnanyis are longtime investigative reporters based in Milan. I will concentrate on part of Chapter 4 ("The Financing of Jihad" ) and all of chapter 5 ("A Fatal Mixture" ), which summarizes pages 216-264.

The second part of this report will focus more on al-Taqwa member Achmed Huber and his possible links to Said Ramadan, one of the most important Islamists in Europe but whose 1995 death has made him almost invisible in contemporary accounts.

[...] The overwhelming thrust of this report has been to give the reader a great deal of empirical information that he or she may not have easy access to in order that they may evaluate the claims for themselves. I have avoided drawing any conclusions because I do not feel qualified to draw conclusions about the Islamist financial machinations this report discusses. However I find it impossible not to put out a call for further research involving the overlap between Nazi and Islamist networks that seem to have been in continual contact from the 1930s until today. In the case of Genoud, Huber, and Ramadan this is becoming more and more impossible to avoid.

www.oraclesyndicate.org/p...9-02_1.htm

Here's another one by Coogan::

The mysterious Achmed Huber: Friend to Hitler, Allah and Ibn Ladin?

www.oraclesyndicate.org/p...5-02_1.htm

Both from 2002. Emory recommends Coogan's book on postwar international fascism, "Dreamer of the Day" from time to time; I wonder what he [Coogan] is up to these days?

If I'm not terribly mistaken, Said Ramadan is closely related to moderate Euro-Islamist Tariq Ramadan, who is the grandson of Hasan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.

I'm going to post later about the links between Al-Banna, and other early Islamists/Salafists, and European, especially British, Masonry and occultism. Those links are as real as the links to Nazism, but even less known. There might be something important there, I think.

"Achmed" Huber's participation in Pagan rituals tells me that his supposed conversion to Islam is just a front. I'm sure that goes for other Nazis who claim to have converted, as well (such as "Abdul Aziz" Myatt). Why Islam? The only reason I can think of is that the international fascist movement decided, after WWII, that the Muslim world would serve a useful purpose in their future designs. And it seems obvious that they did set out inculcate their virus in the Muslim world, with Hjalmar Schacht befriending the Saudis and so on, "Omar" Von Leers concocting anti-Semitic propaganda for Nasser etc. And 40 years later, their investments had yielded Hamas, Islamic Jihad, al-Qa'ida and Osama Bin Laden? That's simplistic, but could there be some truth to it?

Fake Islamists, fake Zionists, fake Christians. The stage is set for the Clash of Civilizations. Be sure to go long on Raytheon.

BTW, another interesting case is that of Grover Norquist. He is actually rumoured to have converted to Islam, and apparently refuses to deny or confirm when asked directly about it. This is from the neo-con Daniel Pipes, certainly not the most unimpeachable of sources, but I'm posting it as an example of the rumours that circulate about Grover in his own circles.

Qutb means "axis," "pole," "the center," which contains the periphery or is present in it. Dave Emory again, whose theories I don't always agree with, but who is a good researcher and usually sticks to what I consider to be credible sources, quotes Hitler's "last will and testament":

Quote:
36. In his last will and testament, Hitler saw alliance with the Muslim world as a key to future Nazi world domination. Note, in particular, the way in which he foresaw the “collective political will” of the Muslim nations as a significant factor. The Fuehrer felt that a transgression against one Muslim country is perceived as a transgression against all. Evaluate the accuracy of his remarks against the background of the information contained in paragraph #37, below. Note also that this political will and testament was bequeathed to Francois Genoud. Although he died in 1996, Genoud’s name crops up significantly in a number of important respects in the context of the events of 9/11. For an overview of Genoud’s career, see FTR#453. For more information about Genoud and 9/11, see—among other programs—FTR#’s 343, 354, 371, 456, 498, 499. “Adolf Hitler declared in his ‘Testament’, reported by Martin Bormann: ‘All of Islam vibrates at announcement of our victories. [...]. What can we do to help them [...], how can it be to our interest and our duty? The presence next to us of the Italians [...] creates a malaise among our friends of Islam, [...] it hinders us from playing one of our better cards: to support the countries oppressed by the British. Such a policy would excite enthusiasm throughout Islam. It is, in effect, a particularity of the Muslim world that what touches one, whether good or ill, is felt by all the others. [...] The people ruled by Islam will always be nearer to us than France, in spite of the kinship of blood’...”
(Testament of Hitler, Headquarters of the Fuhrer, February 4 to April 2, 1945, preface by Francois Genoud; noted as Footnote #8 in: “The Reds, The Browns and the Greens” by Alexandre Del Valle; Occidentalis; 12/13/04; p. 10.)

It should be noted that this "last will and testament" was not written down by Hitler personally. The source is Francois Genoud. I believe its authenticity is a matter of some dispute. But if it isn't Hitler's thoughts, it's representative of Genoud's ideas at an early stage.

Emory makes another point in his latest program: the dominant force in the New Iraq, the SCIRI and the Badr Brigade, was set up by the late ayatollah Khomeini as an Iranian "fifth column" to seize power in Iraq at future date, if the opportunity should present itself. Ayatollah Khomeini lived in exile in France during the 1970s. And his French exile was financed by none other than - Francois Genoud. Chew on that for a bit.

Qutb means "axis," "pole," "the center," which contains the periphery or is present in it.
