I watch about 2 hours of TV a year, but I saw those poor little wretches the other night. Since they have zero talent, I figure part of the reason they are getting major attention is to enhance suspicion of homeschoolers, and gain more support for harrassment by social workers. Which is helpful for the Fourth Reich. <p></p><i></i>

I didn't mean to make you feel bad, thumperton. Really, I think the attention given them is to discredit homeschoolers. One of the ways that social workers get kids taken from their parents is by claiming that the kids are being neglected by seperating them from important socialization with other kids, when they are being homeschooled. Your point about the Amish is well-taken, and free speech also. They are very cute little girls, but I still think they lack musical talent. But they have just as much right to sing what they want as everybody else does without getting into trouble. You may or may not be aware of how many people are rabidly anti-homeschooling, and people have faced severe consequences for deciding that they could do a better job teaching their own children. <p></p><i></i>

Just what this world needs, more blond preteen girls who can't sing for shit.<br><br>I think its refreshing to hear a preteen pop star sing about anything. Even hate. At least they sing about something, y'know?<br><br>Of course, from what I saw on TV, they appear to be fairly stupid. I don't think that homeschooling is the answer, personally, to the problem of American education. All of the homeschooled kids I know are like those girls, filled with hate and misinformation. I don't think parents should be allowed to indoctrinate their children. I'm not sure that state indoctrination is the answer, but letting children be "educated" by their uneducated parents isn't an answer either.<br><br> <p></p><i></i>
