<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>Not being British I don't have any real informed opinion on all of this, but I thought it was interesting to see this pop up in a New York tabloid.<br></em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--><br><br>Royal 'Nazi' hit over Dodi & Di<br><br><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK START--><a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/394361p-334203c.html">www.nydailynews.com/front...4203c.html</a><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK END--><br>BY BILL HUTCHINSON<br>DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER<br><br>Flamboyant tycoon Mohamed Al Fayed has launched a blistering new attack on the British royals, claiming "that Nazi bastard" Prince Philip arranged the Paris car crash that killed Princess Diana and Al Fayed's son Dodi.<br><br>In an explosive interview, Al Fayed maintains Diana's former father-in-law ordered a British secret agent to pose as a paparazzo and whack the couple.<br><br>"This Nazi bastard who has committed such a crime is Prince Philip," Al Fayed told international interviewer Daphne Barak.<br><br>"The princess had received threatening letters from him and these are now with Scotland Yard. In these letters, Philip said he would kill her. I have seen these letters."<br><br>The 77-year-old Egyptian-born businessman's comments come just weeks before French authorities are due to submit a report on the Aug. 31, 1997, crash to the High Court in London.<br><br>John Stevens, a former Scotland Yard chief heading the British investigation, has publicly said the case is "far more complex than any of us thought" and some of the issues Al Fayed has mentioned over the years were "right to be raised."<br><br>"I have faith that Lord Stevens' investigation will come to the right conclusion," Al Fayed told Barak in the exclusive interview.<br><br>Al Fayed, the owner of the famed Harrods department store in London, reiterated his belief that Philip wanted Diana dead because she planned to marry Dodi Fayed - a "naturally tanned" Muslim. Al Fayed also said Diana, 36, was pregnant when she died.<br><br>Friends of the princess have denied that she was pregnant and that she planned to marry Dodi. The coroner who did the autopsy on Diana has also denied she was pregnant.<br><br>French investigators have said driver Henri Paul, who was also killed in the crash, was drunk and speeding. Al Fayed insisted British intelligence switched Paul's blood sample with that of an intoxicated man.<br><br>"It is black and white that Henri Paul's blood was not his," he said.<br><br>Al Fayed's accusations against Prince Philip did not extend to his wife, Queen Elizabeth II. "She has no power," the multibillionaire said. "But he is the evil."<br><br>Al Fayed also had harsh words for Prince Charles, Diana's ex, and his new wife, Camilla.<br><br>"This idiot, Charles, betrayed a woman like Diana for a woman who looks like a crocodile," he said.
