Any libertarians here?

Ideology has killed a helluva lot of people.

I don't like most ideologies or the concept itself, they're all crank belief systems for my money if taken past the point of common sense. But then I'm a fanatical pragmatist . I don't give a crap what the theory is, to me the question is, does this system of governance provide a decent life for the majority of people, and provide for those who cannot provide for themselves? If not, if it profits an elite, I don't really care if they're Silicon Valley libertarians or Maoists or devotees of Leo Strauss or Jesus Christers, I don't like it. I wouldn't even like it if the elite was sarcastic Zen Buddhists like me. I also really am serious about civil liberties being for everyone, not just those who can afford a pricey law firm to enforce theirs.

To me, if someone wants some political advantage they're not willing to extend to everyone else, they're thugs.

No matter how much they paid for their suits.

Over the course of history, simple thuggish selfishness has been dressed up in a variety of fancy outfits that amount to lipstick on a pig.

I hope he gets 30 years and is cornholed several times a day for the entire duration.

2000+ US soldiers, tens of thousands of Iraqis, soldiers of other countries are dead, thousands upon thousands more from all groups are injured, maimed, psychologically traumatized, Iraq and everyone who fought there is contaminated with DU, because this smug little cocksucker with his bear-fucking-a-child fantasies cooked the intelligence.

I'm sorry he and everybody else in the Bush cabal couldn't be made to die, be revived, and die again 2000 times.
