Why bother to force Gore off the stage if it won't make any difference whether a democrat or a republican gets in?<br><br>You don't need to believe the democrats represent a real alternative to the republicans or that Gore is some sort of noble, honorable figure to see why having Bush in office would make all the difference in the world. <br><br>If your plan is to substantially advance the descent into dejure totalitarianism with large scale infliction of mass trauma, which side would better advance the cause? <br><br>(I'm guessing the candidate who is backed by a group of thinly veiled psycopaths who have actually expressed a wish that such an event would occur in one of their seminal foreign policy papers.
