If you don't want any problems then you can either use a very small part (the 4 paragraph rule) or blend it in with other relevant material from your own writing or other sources (fair excerpting with reference).<br><br>For example you often see that people take pieces for different sources and then reference it. So (1) and then add (1) something.com/bla.htm etc.<br><br>Those are fair and allowed ways to do it if you use the material in a non-commercial way.<br><br>You can show a whole document as well, but in that case the copyright holder can make an argument that it is not fair use but just a copy of his/her material.<br><br>The best approach is to make the material part of a greater part. It is harder, but it is the best way to do it and it also allows you make a better and more complete story out of it. <p></p><i></i>

I read the NY Press article. Taibbi didn't quite support his headline. Why does he think the story is coming back? Nothing he mentioned is new information. When I saw the facts of the Ohio election, I was convinced it wouldn't go away, but it did.<br><br>...and why wasn't this sub-capitol hearing getting the web buzz that Conyers' DSM hearing was getting? Oh, because the press already <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>knew</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> there was nothing to it. Waaay back, during Gulf Slaughter 1, he lectured on the media propaganda effort in that conflict. It was so refreshing to see someone putting together the pieces when the whole country seemed to have plunged into fascist insanity (it was the first eruption of the yellow ribbon phenomenon, for those who don't remember). <br><br>He also wrote the "Bush Dyslexicon" and recently had a one-man show in NYC called "A Patriot Act," which went into great detail about the Dominionist influence on the neocons and the Republican party.
