It stands for "Impeach the mother-fucker already!"

www.impeachthemotherfuckeralready.com/P9050026.JPG

Here's the website: www.itmfa.com/ Started by Dan Savage, a favorite advice-to-the-lovelorn columnist... okay, if y'all know "Savage Love" you know they're not all lovelorn. Some are quite... ummm... over-loved. Or whatever.

But this is an idea whose time has come. --MaryK

Impeach the mofo, then impeach the impeachers, and set a trap to impeach the pretender seeking to replaced the previously impeached, and so on in perpetual preventative impeachment....and then impeach the whole lot of 'em back to (but not including) Andrew Jackson, or so.

I prefer arrest and better. Can one make a citizen's arrest of Washington DC? No? Call in the military. No?! OK, Maitreya, where for art thou? No, no, no. "V", anyone? Sigh.

This is a cross-over issue and alienating potential allies with the 'f' word is not a good idea.

Jeaneanne Garafalo does this all the time on Air America Radio
when she rants against some 'douchebag' who should get a kick in the 'ass' by someone who should 'grow a pair.' Ugh. Teenspeak.

Mass murdering torturing poisoning robbing liars deserve a better indictment against them than schoolyard taunts.

That said, these really are evil motherfuckers who should do time in hell.

Indict The Monsters For America!

Dan should stick to sex advice. It will take a hell of a lot more than some anti-Bush swag to make me forget this crap:

Quote:
While the American left is content to see an Iraqi dictator terrorizing the Iraqi people, the Bushies in D.C. are not [....] Because claiming this victory means backing this war, and the American left refuses to back this or any war--which makes the left completely irrelevant in any conversation about the advisability or necessity of a particular war. (Pacifism is faith, not politics.) What's worse, the left argues that our past support for regimes like Saddam's prevents us from doing anything about Saddam now.

etc., etc.

Right wing talking points are far more damaging coming from Mr. Hip Queer Lifestyle Liberal. Savage was 100% wrong when it mattered, and he actively helped spread the "liberals coddle terrorists" line. Now that the winds have changed, he wants to popularize a little impeachment slogan. Well, that's nice.

I'm sorry, I don't agree with you about the language issue; That's how I talk, that's how many I know talk. I stand to gain more allies talking like regular folks than by pulling my punches in a sincere effort "not to offend potential allies". If my potential allies don't like me the way I am, I'm sure there will be plenty of punch-pullers like you to take up the slack.

Fuck 'em!
