This could indeed be the October Surprise... but I'll bet it wasn't the one that was planned.

It's time for a replay of Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre. --MaryK

Well, the October Surprise possibility did occur to me, too. Consider that a previous time it was CBS and Dan Rather that got bamboozled by faked documents. Now, it could be ABC's turn. In that other case CBS had no backup, or chose not to go with it. End of Dan Rather. So, maybe Karl had heard some old rumors about Foley (afterall Karl has been rumored to hang in places known to be gay hangouts). So, he thinks this is a good one to try again. Figures he has the means to turn the scandal on it's head and aim it back at the scandal-mongering Dems. Oops, it's a scandal simmering under the surface, not dead at all, with all sorts of new stuff just waiting to surface. The end. Heeheehee.

Dont everyone cream your pants at once now.....I have read stirrings that the Neo Cons have seen the writing on the wall and now will ride the Dems into tyranny. This way the real tyranny will manifest itself on the Dems watch and they will be to blame....not that they arent now....pussyfootin bastards. They have changed donkeys so to speak.

Quote:
So, maybe Karl had heard some old rumors about Foley (afterall Karl has been rumored to hang in places known to be gay hangouts).

Sorry Chigg but I have to take you to task for this comment.
Being gay doesnt make you a paedophile and being a paedophile just makes you sick (even though to the average idiot it makes you gay)

I am sure you meant no harm but I have seen MSM leaning toward this meme, and I just wanted to stop an intelligent person from making the same crass generalization.
