Flocco's claiming that Bush is trying to fire Fitzgerald and replace him with an S&B friend is a prime example of why people don't trust Flocco. IS it sloppy reporting - did he get excited and confuse the story, or did he intentionally stretch the facts - LIE - to offer up an "exclusive". The thing is, the truth here is damning enough. I think we can conclude McCallum is the likely candidate to replace Fitz's boss. McCallum is a personal hack for Bush and Cheney. This story needs legs and Flocco throwing the distraction out there is not doing anyone any good.

Now, it will be interesting to see what happens in Oct. when Fitz's term runs out. Will his service continue to please the president?

what the astrologer says

Postby anon » Sun Aug 07, 2005 1:27 pm

From starlightnews.com

Uranus strikes again, opposite Bush’s Mars and square Inaugural Moon. This has got to be the chutzpah move of the year!! According to tomorrow’s

Newsweek, Fitzgerald’s boss is out and fellow Skull and Bones, Bush Yalie classmate is in.

Remember, I mentioned that Jupiter right now is trine Inaugural Neptune, the fountain of the administration’s deception games and self-aggrandizing fantasy, through sometime Tuesday. At that point, Jupiter then moves to conjunct Bush’s Moon and his Jupiter through August. He will be celebrating and very happy. Perhaps he will be celebrating what he hopes will be the whitewashing of the Plame investigation and his narrow escape from disaster? Clearly there will be a huge public reaction almost immediately if they do try and get rid of Fitzgerald. But the celebration, whatever it is for, will be short-lived. Something signficant shifts on or around September 4, when Saturn comes into orb of Bush’s Ascendant. I don’t think they will be able to whitewash Plamegate.

Taft and Bones

Postby Ferry Fey » Sun Aug 07, 2005 1:45 pm

Recall the central place Ohio had in the 2004 elections.

While not Skull and Bones, Ohio governor Bob Taft is directly descended from a Skull and Bones founder, and related to about 8 or 9 other Bones members over the years.

Anyone who reads the Newsweek story can see it's not there. Not a very clever lie.

This will sound like excuse making but it's just info.
My sources have said that Flocco is under a lot of strain and staying up all hours... also in the process of trying to move his site. I'll wait for a correction but meanwhile, as you've said, the truth is damning enough.

I like the astrologers take.

Newsweek story

Postby rapt » Sun Aug 07, 2005 2:31 pm

Could the story not have been altered after Flocco reported it? I seem to remember that it was a few hours before the story actually appeared online. Also when I checked, the story was chopped off and I couldn't find the rest of it on the site.

Now Truthseeker has a notice over their copy of Flocco's piece that they will pull it soon if more confirmation isn't forthcoming. Didn't know they were so easily spooked.

Lets face it this is an earthshaking issue - so out of the ordinary that truth and logic and normal procedures are expected to be twisted, contorted, ripped by those up close and involved, like perhaps Isikoff.

Hang in there folks - this is war and it doesn't work by comfortable rules. I'll stick with Flocco until he has been proven wrong to my satisfaction. He has a lot less to lose than those who are trying to undermine his reporting.

My apologies to Sweejak

Postby Peachtree Pam » Sun Aug 07, 2005 2:44 pm

Sweejak,

My apologies for re-posting your links, I simply did not go to the first page. Sorry.

I am inclined to think if Bush is putting in an S&B judicial thug as Fitzgerald"s boss that this action does to some extent substantiate that Bush wants things closed down. He would only close it down if he could not afford the findings of the GJ to come out.

Flocco's "Scoop"

Postby Peg C » Sun Aug 07, 2005 4:35 pm

Bellacaio ran this story, with a link to its "original" site at Truthseeker.uk, which has carried a running disclaimer:

"Update
Despite initial scepticism we posted the following. Now it appears that the following story has mutated once again with its appearance in Newsweek, as claimed. However Fitzgerald will not replaced by Robert McCallum, who is appointed as Fitzgerald supervisor from which position may be able to help out his old Skull & Bones buddy. Flocco story gone

Postby Sweejak » Sun Aug 07, 2005 6:09 pm

www.tomflocco.com/
No explanation given.

Then this, totally FYI here.

Quote:
Tom’s site has been down, read this note from Tom that just appeared in Stolnik’s site:
Cloak News Update: 8/5/05:

NOTICE FROM TOM FLOCCO
Tom Flocco was warned by a U.S. Intelligence source that a contract FBI Division 5 operative had compromised his website without his knowledge. He made the decision to immediately move the site to a new server since the site was unstable and experiencing intermittent availability. The recent stories "Financial Terrorism Towers Over 9.11" and "Bush and Cheney Indicted" will both be placed up online with his archive shortly, while his website is restored. Tom was locked out of the administration editor which allows the posting of stories and news on his site; and the site went up and down on the web during certain parts of the last few days without his knowledge or control. This necessitated an immediate move to a new location to avoid future difficulties and interference with the news he was reporting. Tom thanks his supporters for their patience. He is sticking by his Bush-Cheney indictment story and his key on-the-record source Tom Heneghen, despite the fact that U.S. and independent web media will not report the story--except for Sherman Skolnick. CloakandDagger.de regular reporter and co-host Skolnick said today that he has confirmed with impeccable sources in the U.S. and two other countries that Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist and Justice Antonin Scalia were named on August 4 as unindicted co-conspirators in the Bush-Gore 2000 election recount case.

Do the "Jerk"
