i'm not quite sure what you mean by amusing.<br>But i dont think many people in the Sudan are amused at the moment as there were riots in the streets on the news that he had died.<br>And if you check your map you will notice that the sudan has some geo-political importance.<br>A peace treaty ending 21 years of civil war was only just concluded in january and Mr Garang was one of the signers.<br>The war was between the muslim north and the christian and animist south. I'd like more, actually. These kind of posts were what I was originally looking for when I came onboard. Parapolitical collaborative research.<br><br>Hey, sometimes they may not prove to be anything at all (except a laugh), sometimes they might not mean something right now - or this decade ----- but ya never know. My experience says there is a lot of powerful stuff out there that just misses our "significance" radar and slips away.<br><br>If it wasn't for people with good intuition picking something up, sniffing it, saying "hmm, this smells fishy", and filing it away for later, we would be in the dark about a lot more than we are right now. And it's way too big a job for just one person.<br> <br>Just look at the book Paul Thompson and his contributors managed to put together with seemingly insignificant news pieces. It's not be the be-all-and-end-all of 9/11 research, but it sure comes in handy trying to sort things out at this stage in the game. <p></p><i></i>
