Reporter's Suspicious Death

Postby john darmy » Fri Sep 23, 2005 11:19 pm

Does anybody know anything about the death of Kevin Carmody, who was a reporter for the Austin American-Statesman? He died earlier this year, and at the time, his death was being investigated as a suicide. However, having worked with Kevin at another newspaper, I find it hard to believe he killed himself. I think it's more likely that he was murdered to keep him from investigating a story. Since he was an environmental and science reporter, one theory I have is that he might have been investigating the suspicious deaths of all the microbiologists. I think bin'dare was also inquiring about this, but for some reason, I cannot access his e-mail account. Could somebody contact bin'dare and let him know that I was looking for information about this? Thanks.

Good background info on Kevin Carmody and issues around his alleged suicide -- another someone who is deeply missed, who made a positive difference in people's lives and tried to make the world a better place.

www.infowars.com/articles...icided.htm

Starman

Starman, thanks for the background info about Kevin Carmody.
I had no idea he was so troubled, so it didn't make sense to me before. But maybe he really did kill himself. I would still like to know what stories he was working on at the time of his death. I'm sure he pissed off some people in government and the mafia with his previous stories, but unless he was working on something new, I doubt that he was murdered.

John Darmy is actually my screen name, not my real name. But I didn't choose that name because I'm a fan of the Gendarme. It's the name of a song by one of my favorite rock bands, Bettie Serveert from The Netherlands. It's on the album Private Suit. Incidentally, if anyone can find the lyrics to the song or knows who John Darmy is, please let me know. Apparently the song was not written by Bettie Serveert, so the lyrics are not posted on their web site.

You know its possible to make someone troubled and suicidal so that when he finally does it, it even makes sense.
We have some strange deaths around here in Israel and I wrote about one of them here. Those governments are in possession of sophisticated chemicals that can be administered over a long period of time, via aerosol, water, food and even shots like they do with wild animals (darts). Some hormones can wreak havoc in the system and create the appearance of mental illness for all practical purposes.
Recently, for instance, local press published experiments with a certain female hormone that if administered in high doses removes the natural psychological defenses from strangers, and creates "opennes and trust" in people one does not know at all. Unlike alcohol, which may have similar effects this is more subtle and remains for about 10 days ...and will not be detected easily (nobody will even look for it in blood tests).
So, being "a mess" for some time, means nothing.
Alternatively, anyone who sees what's going on, and is not really grounded, can become depressed.
Primo Levy, one of my favorite writers and thinkers, committed suicide at an old age, a few years ago. He survived the holocaust, he became a famous and loved writer, but in his last years, i think he realized the enemy is far from defeated...if you know what i mean. This can really get to you.

That's a good point. Either way, it's murder. Sometimes people are poisoned to death over a long period of time by people they trust.

yes. My sister died two years ago in Connecticut, pathology taking months, and finally coming up with fuzzy explanations that lead to nothing. She was just divorcing and said she believes her husband, who is a neurologist was just killing her slowly...people thought she was mad (and he called psychiatrists on her, but didn't succeed in forcing her), then she died of heart arrest in her sleep, at 46 just a month later.
