Haxan is the media group (E Sanchez and Dan Myrick, pretty much) which created "The Blair Witch Project" and the short-lived "Freakylinks" TV show. This website was a viral marketting ploy to create a 'buzz' for the Freakylinks show some months before it was released. In its original incarnation it was put up as an independent site, and the ties to Haxan obscured. The premise was that the site was an independent effort from college-age occult researchers, and that the TV show had been created in response to overwhelming public interest in the website. Now that the show is history, the Haxan group has closed the independent site, and are hosting the material on their corporate site. <br><br>I'd take anything I found there with a one-pound box of salt.<br><br>-Sepka the Space Weasel <p></p><i></i>
