Thanks for raising the topic, it's something that continues to trouble me...in addition to the undersea bomb theory, I'd cataloged a few other possibilities or contributing factors.

Q: The recent violent tsunami devastation was caused or exacerbated by:

a. Deforestation of mangroves which were a natural defense against tsunami before the shrimp and tourism industries caused them to be cut down. (and skittish officials who delayed warnings because they didnÕt want to risk offending the tourism industry with a false alarm...)

www.independent-media.tv/...desc=Under Reported

b. I recall a couple of days before the tsunami, an article ran, I think in the Houston Chronicle, suggesting a terrorist threat of an atomic strike on Houston. Then came the tsunami, and it was suggested the terrorist warning was a "look this way" distraction from the pre-tsunami activities.

I bring this up, because a friend informed me yesterday that he been hearing threats of an atomic blast in Chicago, to occur in June, to get the nation properly fearful again. Is this just another "look this way" story to distract from an attack on Iran at that time? Any thoughts? (Sorry, no links or back up for this one, except Scott Ritter and his predictions).

tsunami links

Postby michael meiring » Fri May 20, 2005 11:47 pm

here are a few links regarding tesla weapons/EMP and scalar weapons.

www.deepblacklies.co.uk/d...pons_1.htm

Laying at the centre of these allegations are a series of powerful earthquakes, strange fireballs and aerial lights manifesting above Western Australia. They also revolve around the major January 1995 quake which laid waste to the Japanese City of Kobe. The latter resulted in the crash of the Tokyo stock exchange - itself directly leading to the collapse of England’s spook-infested Barings bank. Suggestions that the Kobe event may have been caused by a laser-powered seismic weapon continue to circulate.

Extraordinarily, Aum’s charismatic guru, Shoko Asahara, predicted the Kobe quake nine days before the event. In an 8 January 1995 radio broadcast, Asahara stated “Japan will be attacked by an earthquake in 1995. The most likely place is Kobe.” Hideo Murai, the late Science and Technology minister for Aum Shinrikyo also adhered to this view. Murai - said to have been the most intelligent Japanese who ever lived - was murdered in a Yakuza orchestrated assassination shortly after speaking on the record to foreign news correspondents.[ii]

Aum’s singular interest in weapons of mass destruction - including sophisticated earthquake, weather and plasma weapons - were considered serious enough to launch a special investigation by the US Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Chaired by Senator Sam Nunn, the committee spent five months conducting hundreds of interviews of “both government and private individuals.”[iv] These included classified briefings from numerous US intelligence agencies. Their findings were published in an October 1995, 100 page report on the Aum cult.

a small snipit about tesla..

During the late 1890’s, Tesla built a “lightning bolt machine” at Shoreham, Long Island, NY. Funding for the project, dubbed “Wydenclyffe” was provided by banker-entrepreneur, J. P. Morgan. The construction consisted of an enormous 187 foot high tower, capped by a 55 ton, 68 foot metal dome. Tesla was confident his machine would work as envisaged - following previous experiments in Colorado where he had accidentally destroyed the generating station at Colorado Spring’s Electric Company.

freepress2005.blogspot.co...laims.html

Friday, January 07, 2005
1999: Furore over `tidal bomb' claims!
AFP , WELLINGTON

Sunday, Sep 26, 1999

Top secret wartime experiments were conducted off the New Zealand coast to perfect a tidal wave bomb believed to be potentially as effective as the atom bomb, a report said yesterday citing declassified files.

Auckland University professor Thomas Leech set off a series of underwater explosions triggering mini-tidal waves at Whangaparaoa, just north of Auckland, in 1944 and 1945, the New Zealand Herald reported.

PROJECT SEAL do a search on that for weather manipulation, plenty of declassified documents in the public arena

i will send more links in a later posting.

By astute observation and comparison of the
angles of the critical Sun/ Moon opposition line as related to the
equator and the poles of the Earth, the Indian scientists precisely
located the area where and the time when the phases of the Schumann
Resonance would be weakened enough to allow tectonic plates to shift.
However, the Indian scientists had no awareness of phases for the
Schumann Resonance in their research but their earthquake
prognostications by observing and calculating the angles of the
Sun/Moon opposition through the Earth are astounding. Many people feel
they deserve global accolades for their efforts, discoveries and
sterling accomplishments.

The prediction by the Indian scientists was about 28 minutes off in
predicting when the earthquake would occur. They were correct in
calculating the exact time of the opposition of the Sun and Moon but
they did not realize the stress caused by these positions would take
about 30 minutes to build on and alter the phases of the Schumann
Resonance that caused or contributed to the tectonic plates to slip at
an exact location on Earth's harmonic grid."
