PARIS, France (AP) -- Divers have discovered a new crustacean in the South Pacific that resembles a lobster and is covered with what looks like silky, blond fur, French researchers said Tuesday. Scientists said the animal, which they named Kiwa hirsuta, was so distinct from other species that they created a new family and genus for it. A team of American-led divers found the animal in waters 2,300 meters (7,540 feet) deep at a site 1,500 kilometers (900 miles) south of Easter Island last year, according to Michel Segonzac of the French Institute for Sea Exploration. The new crustacean is described in the journal of the National Museum of Natural History in Paris. The animal is white and 15 centimeters (5.9 inches) long -- about the size of a salad plate. In what Segonzac described as a "surprising characteristic," the animal's pincers are covered with sinuous, hair-like strands. It's also blind. The researchers found it had only "the vestige of a membrane" in place of eyes, Segonzac said. The researchers said that while legions of new ocean species are discovered each year, it is quite rare to find one that merits a new family. The family was named Kiwaida, from Kiwa, the goddess of crustaceans in Polynesian mythology. The diving expedition was organized by Robert Vrijenhoek of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute in California. Keeping people from worrying about global warming is what 'Ice Age' is really about. The keywords don't just go to "ohmygod!" in your brain anymore. Now they go to "cute" "nice animation" "looks like my baby" and other competing emotions and images. The chain of association has been hijacked with an alternative path and this is reflected in your bloodstream, too, thereby reinforcing the perceived stimuli of the propaganda. You won't think of 'friendlied-up' topics the same way again. This is exactly how corporations/spooks in media diffuse emotions in the targeted public by providing their own cheerful amusing images and characters. In the US it is very important to not allow things to get 'out of hand' the way they did in the 1960s when outrage against fascism's war and pollution built up until people wouldn't take 'it' anymore. Allowing protest and dissent has a function in maintaining stability and control along with the illusion of 'freedom' which is then used as the cover story for more war, "...on the march." People feel better and can continue AS IS if they can vent their frustrations. The US military has figured this out and added 'listeners' to their combat units so when a soldier shoots up a family or is shot at or sees his friends killed he can go have a shoulder to let it all out on and go back 'to work.' 'Ventilation' is now built into American Scientific Fascism and is what keeps most people from seeing through the 'Land of the Free' cover story they are indoctrinated with from birth. The cover story is maintained and reinforced on TV and in movies. So VENTILATION is built into our culture as comedy and satire- >Saturday Night Live skits once a week >Letterman/Leno monologues and quips most nights >Doonesbury comic strip every day >Jon Stewart on the Daily Show most days Venting helps us cope and thus accomodate the ever-increasing crimes and oppressions against us. THIS is how the frog is kept in the pot as the heat goes up. The social engineering function of movies isn't always as sophisticated as many assume. Only a very few actually even see a movie but many more hear or see the title and the advertising, especially the billboard/paper ad, so they get a dose of subliminal social engineering and neuro-linguistic programming without even seeing the movie. Cultural and political anxieties and concerns are diffused by providing alternative narratives that take the edge off a topic. Keeping kids from worrying about global warming and war helps keep their parents from resonating with their kids concerns. And parents go see the movie with their kids and talk about it. Even if they just watch it, the hand-holding effect does the job. So: 'Ice Age' "global warming isn't a big deal. been there done that." 'Chicken Little' "no worries and ignore alarmists about war and the environment." 'Curious George' "everyone makes mistakes like Iraq and Katrina but it's hard work and George W, who the lefties call a monkey, means well " All media is morality theater. It tells you who to love or hate and what behaviors to encourage or discourage. Just watch whatever Nicholas Cage is in. He's the new Tom Cruise action man. Tom Hanks is the 'nice guy' version, the new Alan Alda playing moral people in immoral situations. Jodie Foster is another tool, unwitting or not, ever since 'Taxi Driver.' (Gawd, do all these actors realize their role in propaganda?) Add to the list of recent military/intel messaging movies: >'The Windtalkers' about codebreaking in WWII. "NSA is cool!" >'The Lords of War' about an arms dealer with a conscience. "weapons are cool!" >'Flight Plan' is a plane hijacking whodunnit released when the Patriot Act was up for renewal in 2005. "never again!" >'The Terminal' is a 2004 SPIELBERG romantic comedy about getting stuck in an airport by Homeland Security. "a few bad apples but they look out for us." >'The Weather Man' is a 2005 movie about one who quits to follow his emotional needs for more out of life. "I don't believe there really is weather modification as mandated in Senate Bill 517 introduced on 3/3/2005 by Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison." You might be thinking of 'The Anchor Man' when you mention Will Farrel. I haven't seen 'The March of the Penguins' or 'The Weather Man.' But the same messaging to counter the bad news is built into the title and idea. Did 'Penguins' mention that the ice caps are melting? Did 'Penguins' mention that oil spills kill them off? Which way do things "march"? FORWARD. The truth is that penguins are moving towards EXTINCTION. Subliminal mollification accomplished. A few times a month the skies over the SF Bay have the cloud-generating chemtrail lines drawn by unmarked jets. Today was one of those warm sunny days and I pointed them out to neighbors out with their kids and told them what they were. People always accept it as real when they look up and there it is. This is the other built in mechanism for slowly spreading the acceptance without inducing alarm or outrage or RESISTANCE of any kind. Yeah, your right I was thinkng of 'The Anchor Man' and I don't know anything about 'The Weather Man'. 'March of the Penguins from what I hear is about the melting of the Antartic ice shelf, but its ok because the penguins know how to adapt. Its next up on movie night for me and the Mrs thats why I asked. I wanted to impress her with some inside info. I noticed the trails in the bay area today also btw. One place that I see an ever increasing propaganda campaign are billboards(you might agree). Drive down the 101 corridor from SF to Redwood City, its shameful. Condition the masses. Your right its all about awareness.

I see from driving past Berkeley that ClearChannel Outdoors which does all the billboards is now CBS Outdoors. Even more hardcore CIA-linked messengers have picked up that psy-ops front. Chemtrail discussion starts on page 2. I personally believe that there is a campaign to use military aircraft to spray chemicals in the sky. Why? I believe they spray to decrease rainfall, although it doesn't explain why they spray in the summer months when, where I live, there isn't much rain anyways. If you look into it you would see 50 different theories on why they may/or may not be spraying aerosols into the atmosphere. Back to my theory: I think, becuase of global warming, that if they don't spray it would rain dramatically. The masses would know something is dreadfully wrong, there would be an outcry to stop using fossil fuels and start using more earth freindly sources of energy. If the rainfall is average the masses go about their business as usual. The oil companies make bucks and everyone is happy. Which of course is only an illusion. A little bit of my theory on a subject that has become very complicated. As you soon may find out.

Probably cloud production to slow global warming. It took years to determine but scientists have decided that cloud cover has a net cooling effect and can abate the Greenhouse effect producing global warming. Jets create huge lines of white plume perpendicular to each other like big 'X's and the plumes spread out into cloud cover. This can't be admitted due to public reaction and the politico-economic implications. Energy policy (burning oil) would have to change. Environmentalism is kryptonite to the corporate 'Supermen' who deny responsibilty for poisoning our planet. Corporations and their White House cabal are horrified that the group awareness that's called Vietnam Syndrome has an ecological counterpart that will prevent them carrying out the Project For a New American Century plan for global conquest. With the increase of storms that kill people in very noticeable ways like Katrina, covering up this ecodisaster is especially important to the power control group in this country because even worse is ahead.
