If it isn't just an 'artifact,' then it looks like a bright arc from Texas to Florida across the Gulf intersecting the season's first storm.

A laser wouldn't curve so perhaps an artifact. Really impossible to tell.

See 'Senate Bill 517' and 'HR2995.'

I know all about the weather mod stuff; I was a highly active moderator at chemtrailcentral last year and monitored Katrina and Wilma in real-time all the way. These artifacts don't appear in other(non-hurricane) storms or on other times of the year. As far as I was aware, this storm was supposed to be ripped apart by high altitude windshear late last night, but here we are with a Hurricane Watch..This is a repeat of last years bullshit with Katrina, Wilma, and that other one that defied nature parked out in the Atlantic for weeks..

That Captain's Blog guy better not start his "Oh look, someone's trying to save us" shit again..

Wilma went from Tropical Storm to Cat 5 in 24 hours. Scour the records for anything that even remotely approached that kind of aggressive development.

explained...?

Postby boyrobot » Mon Jun 12, 2006 11:44 pm

From the FAQ on the site...

Quote:
A dark red patch (or streak) suddenly appeared on the image, and it seems to repeatedly flash every hour, moving with the storm. Is this real?

It is not real. As we say in the disclaimer on the main page, the individual images that are used as input into this product sometimes contain bad data in the form of missing scanlines or anamalously high or low values that often stretch in an arc across the image. When these areas are incorporated into the MIMIC product they form artifacts that fade in and out, and appear to move with the storm center. However, they have no physical meaning and hopefully they will not obstruct your interpretation of the imagery.

Weather mod, right on schedule. But who is doing it? I thought I read that another one is forming. Get ready for more FEMA follies.

If the weather people were in on it, they would have edited out the artifacts.

If not, wouldn't they ask where they were coming from, or why they seemed to correspond with shifts in the storm? I'd probably edit it out anyway...
