ImmuneRegen - I panic easily

Postby ZeroHaven » Fri Jul 22, 2005 9:03 pm

After reading today's blog I started researching ways to protect from radiation exposure. My Velostat hat started buzzing so I wanted to share.
Long story short: I find a medication, go to their website:

(June 21, 2005)
"ImmuneRegen BioSciences Prepares for Department of Health and Human Services RFP for Therapeutics to Treat Acute Radiation Syndrome"
Considering the Air Force was previously funding the research, the RFP should be cake!

The company history says this:
"On July 27, 2001, a majority interest in our company was acquired by a private investor, and we installed new management and adopted a new business plan. The immediate action taken regarding this new business plan was to discontinue our then current operations effective July 27, 2001."

Does the name "Michael K. Wilhelm" ring any bells for anyone? or am I just paranoid?

.o0O0o.

I need more tin foil for my hat

radiation just sounds scary
if the USA launched all of its missiles at once we would all be toast, but one or two bombs or a dirty bomb and most humans would survive.
And think of the odds it being where you live?

A dirty bomb wouldnt be any more dangerous than a chemical spill. The only thing remotely dangerous about a dirty bomb, if you are not in the blast area, is dust.So you cover up,wet cloth in front of your mouth, get on your favourite 2 wheeled transportation device and head away from the blast with the wind in your face (you want the wind blowing dust away from you)
if you are worried make a little plan.
People feel more comfortable with a plan.

Thanks, but my fallout plan is to find the safest country to hole up in!

I'm currently living in a 'slightly warm' zone, (Chernobyl is still leaking!) but that's not my major concern.
I was just connecting the invisible dots between the iodine supply being bought out, a private investor very interested in anti-radiation medicines, the recently-speculated-on activity at the abandoned military base in Texas, and justifying the prospect of nuking Iran.
The 144 Rule stock acquisitions for this company look a little strange from Oct.2003 as well. I was just posting this to see if anybody knew of a connection I didn't.

and it looked a bit dubious to me,a really low success rate and all it does (i'm not a doctor) is boost your immune system a bit from what i can tell,it doesnt actually do anything to cure the radiation burn itself.
You are right that by watching things like purchasing and planned exercises one gets excellent clues as to the thinking thats going on in private in government.
And i'm convinced that for the "war on terror" to go as planned Iran will be attacked.
I'm just not sure if they will need another US domestic attack if they can achieve the same locally,or maybe blame Iran for the London bombings?A Iranian "mastermind" would give the UK an excuse, the USA would have to support its friend the UK, as would the newly trained Iraqi divisions.
Oops,i'm speculating and theorising again *slaps self*

Can we purchase regular iodine drops at the drugstore and keep just in case? Would it do any good?

It's actually Potassium Iodide (KI) or Potassium Iodate (KIO3) - not the iodine you put on wounds. It only helps prevent thyroid damage if you take it before or within 3 hours of radioactive exposure. The problem is you have to be careful because it's possible to overdose on it. Check the labelling.
This is what SHOULD be in your table salt already, and should be available as pills at the drugstore.

Here's a panic guide if you're looking for total preparedness.

Edited by: ZeroHaven at: 7/23/05 8:57 pm
