will colloidal silver be any good against the flu pandemic?

I really don't want to take those vaccines.

not that it's my concern. To answer your question: honestly, I've never seen anyone who benefitted from colloidal silver...I'm close to a doctor, shall we say, who has seen people literally blue from silver poisoning trying to heal themself with that stuff. If it does do anything positive, it's got to be at very low doses, and from what I've seen there's good reason to be skeptical that it does much of anything.

I'd avoid the vaccines...if it comes down to it fake the paperwork and stick yourself with saline solution...but I doubt silver'll help you. Anecdotal evidence has found exactly zero contradictions to 'the people getting the shots are the only ones who come down sick each season', and imho it's either b/c they're the ones with weak immune systems or the vaccines ain't quite what they're labelled as.

I've heard of people turning blue as well, but only in rare cases. Ever since I've learned about the evil nature of big pharma, i've been leaning more towards natural remedies, like organic foods, herbs, precious metals, and perhaps precious stones.

good for you, but beware of 'natural cure' frauds also

Postby glubglubglub » Sat Oct 01, 2005 3:12 pm

you're onto the wiser approach, but my 2c is still going to be that those selling the precious metals ( and stones? who sells that stuff?... ) are just hucksters fleecing people who also are sick of big medicine/big pharma et. al...

I don't know the real-deal lowdown on colloidal silver -- but from I have gleaned and intuit, I'd suspect it has some limited value in low-doses for specific infections.

As important or useful if not moreso for restoring health and assisting one's own immune system are natural essential-oils for their anti-viral, anti-bacterial properties without the side-effect risk (and cost and wasted-effort/opportunity) of hocus-pocus Big-Pharma products.

Something to keep in mind re: the potential risk of planned or unplanned viral pandemics:

My reading has discovered the many benefits of:
Oregano Oil
Olive Leaf Oil with essential Oleoperenia
(as a 1:4 tincture with alcohol, several drops in a quart of water, one-to-several glasses drunk daily)
"Use olive leafs as an anti bacterial for infections. actually it's funny you mentioned the dmso

Postby glubglubglub » Sat Oct 01, 2005 4:11 pm

That is one of the best kept secrets...and a good way to go to jail for advocating it for any medical use if you're not careful. Case in point: most drug-resistant bacteria become such by developing 'blocks' on their inner/outer gateways that prevent the antibiotics from entering...but dmso basically dissolves through just about anything organic, and if you suspend your antibiotic in it you can get a lot more bang for the buck...even bypassing the blocks the bacteria throw up (although it's unknown to me whether this occurs b/c they're designed to work in a water, not dmso, solution, or whether b/c the dmso pulls the antibiotics through with it).

That won't help you much against a virus, but it's worth knowing.

re: mention of DMSO

Postby Starman » Sat Oct 01, 2005 6:26 pm

GlubX3 --

Interesting and valuable-knowing re: the solvent's efficacy in aiding drug penetration through a bacteria's outer-shell cell membrane; I think (as I've read) one of the primary objections the AMA has to its use is because it permits reduced amounts of given meds, by potentiating the entry to tissue cells etc. -- it IS one helluva solvent. I haven't seen it mentioned much anymore, tho I still believe it has some excellant qualities for treating bruising type soft-tissue injuries of bones and tendons, and as a natural antibacteriastatic -- It sure has a place in my First Aid kit. But just yesterday, I saw it mentioned as aiding the Tea Tree Oil treatment of toenail fungus -- From what I know, this makes sense. Apparently, there are even better home remedy cures for this common ailment (tho I haven't tried them).

In a post-catastrophe era of social and economic collapse (or even moderate impact), alternative treatments for a variety of afflictions re: naturopathy, common-sense folk and home remedies, herbs/vitamins/minerals knowledge, homeopathy and such may become of greater value than they already are -- given the near monopolistic control Big Pharma and Official Medicine wields with/to such wide and indiscriminate effect.

Its tragic but not surprising that the Medicine Cartel tries to block public knowledge of useful, home-based treatments and natural medicines -- Yet that's a symptom of overmature Capitalism, unrestrained greed that discourages cooperation and beneficent progress.

Onward, brightward: Power to the People!
Starman
