scollon:<br><br>I don't know if this thread has dwindled down to just the two of us but I certainly enjoy a robust exchange.<br><br>Anyway (and this seems to be getting far afield of the original subject)....you acknowledge that joining (and therefore obviously participating) in Christianity was "voluntary". OK. So during the time someone was voluntarily joined with the community, they voluntarily participated with the community. <br><br>If the 'joining' was truly voluntary then they would be free to leave if they no longer wished to participate. It's the old Christian classic-- 'freedom of association'. <br><br>I don't know if we've reached the point of hair-splitting here but I appreciate your apparent acknowledgement that the 'right' and the 'left' BOTH..are paving the way for the world's descent into totalitarianism.<br><br>I guess we agree on that.<br><br> <p></p><i></i>
