Iraqi civillians -- what are their thoughts.

... and it sparked my interest in the political climate in Iraq.
Does anyone have other informative sites where we can get the feel of the people in Iraq currently?
How did the majority view their living conditions during Saddam's reign? What is the political climate like there currently?... and so on.
From what I understand during operation "Desert Storm" GW Sr. asked the Iraqis to help aid in fighting Saddam only to leave them deserted.
In the "War on Terror", did the Iraqis initially think we were there to liberate them?
