Tee-shirt Sayings

I've been watching the new Army recruitment ads with awe. These are the ones aimed at the parents of young pleople to convince them to get their children to sign on the dotted line. Wow! Then I watch the news clips of Bush's appearance at National Guard armories and elsewhere. This is contrasted with Cindy's Camp Casey. WHAT a contrast. And it seems obvious to me that this could all blow up in Bush's face. What needs to be done is to get the people to start to ask themselves if Bush and the other elite are talking their children to do their part by joining up. What better way than with catchy, grab-your-attention tee-shirts? Someone start a web contest. Here's the first entry

Support our troops
Draft the Bush Twins

Edited by: chiggerbit at: 8/27/05 12:16 pm

wow, synchronized. I just left the TV after watching a news blip about those ads! It's amazing that the desperation is making international news.. they showed and translated several ads, and pointed out how bad recruitment is.

The T-Shirt? oh boy.. there's thousands of em already. maybe submit your idea to one of these places, or your favorite vendor, or make em yourself.

Cafe Express - designs applied to T's, stickers, etc.
BushandCheneysuck - ok collection of stuff, fairly popular
IrregularTimes - my pre-RI hangout, they sold the sticker the "Denver Three" got kicked out for

no personal endorsement, just giving ideas.

We need ones aimed directly at the heart of these new Army ads---our blood, their profit. I'm getting ready to order mine and wear them evewrywhere. Oops, if you don't hear from me again, you can guess what happened.
