Don't look down on the source.
This was the lead story on the main TV news in Spain tonight.
They showed two or three minutes.

Probably something like a Masonic initiation.

They then showed Blair. The usual. Isolated incident. Full investigation. British troops don't do this sort of thing.

Then to some military type (retd.)

British don't do this sort of thing.....

Are you hearing anything in the US?

Quote:
Britain's Breaking Abu Ghraib Scandal

Nigel Parry, Electronic Iraq, 12 February 2006

In a shocking video obtained by the British newspaper, News of the World, shot in 2004 by an approving British Corporal who shouts encouragement during the minute long footage, British troops inside a military compound in Iraq are seen savagely beating Iraqi children who had been throwing stones at the base.

The February 12th article, "Shamed By 42 Brainless Blows" reports that "The video — later shown to the corporal's pals at their home base in Europe — was exposed to the News of the World by a disgusted whistleblower."

The News of the World reports that the Corporal's video depicts:
...at least eight of his hulking comrades cruelly:

DRAGGING four weedy rioters—all apparently in their early teens—off the street and behind the high walls of a secluded army compound,

BEATING them senseless with vicious blows from batons, boots and fists,

IGNORING their pitiful pleas for mercy, until the incident climaxes with what appears to be an NCO delivering a sickening full-force kick in the genitals of a cringeing lad pinned to the ground.

All the while the callous cameraman delivers a stomach-churning commentary urging his mates on, cackling with laughter and screaming: "Oh yes! Oh yes! You're gonna get it. Yes, naughty little boys! You little f***ers, you little f***ers. DIE! Ha, ha!"

The video is believed to have been shot in 2004 in Southern Iraq and, according to the newspaper's investigation, shows no less than 42 blows—kicks, baton hits, punches, and headbuts— all accompanied by a sickening commentary by the Corporal videotaping the incident.

The News of the World reported that the newspaper "handed our dossier of evidence to the Ministry of Defence. A Military Police investigation is now under way."

Britain has dramatically found itself in its own breaking Abu Ghraib Scandal.

electroniciraq.net/news/2268.shtml

(includes still shots from video)

This is no masonic ritual or some sort of conspiracy thing.

UK squadies are, in the main, a bunch of drunken yobs that would otherwise be permentantly locked up in jail for some form of antisocial behaviour.

Given a bit of power, and a bit of freedom, this is how they behave. Doesnt matter if they are in Iraq, or England.

I used to live near an army base in Salisbury in England, and my god this scandal, whilst revolting, is pretty tame compared to their antics at home.

How about that for timing the release of this video to the public, right on the heels of the "Cartoon Riots"? As Brian Williams said a few minutes ago on NBC's Nightly News (something to the effect of) "it couldn't have come at a worse time".

This has Psy-Ops written all over it.

totally agree iroquois, the timing is actually perfect,
punctuated stabs at the arab world, working up to the main show,

however, i think we should all stop using they're terms,
they create these terms and we pay hommage to them by using them, military jargon is for dummies, lets take back the language that frames our minds

psy-ops, intel, false flag, ground zero, limited hangout

i wish i'd never heard these words

And there, prominently displayed, is one of those goddamned white plastic chairs again.

If this is a PsyOp, do you supposed they might have done that on purpose, to remind us of Nick Berg?

Perverts, saddists?? Anybody who engages in this is doing it for a sexual thrill. Abu was for voyeuristic perverts who watched from a distance, maybe as far away as the White House. Same goes for the Brits. Tony "loves" it, if you get my drift.

Edited by: chiggerbit at: 2/12/06 8:45 pm

Huh, how about that. I'd only caught the tail end of the video and didn't notice the chair at all. Now that I see it in the stills, that really is kind of uncanny.

Did the perpetrating PsyOps unit adopt the chair as either their trademark and/or as a message to other Intel units that the video is a PsyOp? Was this segment of video chosen because it happened to have the chair? Or, was the chair placed deliberately and the event staged?

Heck if I know. This one is just too weird for me.

Edited by: Iroquois at: 2/12/06 8:46 pm

Wonder if the "terr'ists" got theirs from Walmart? So, are these sold in Europe or the Middle East? Not to say that you did, Floyd, but I did. Ok, ok, mine are dark green. The stark white shows the dirt so bad.

I guess I am naive in asking, but is there any suspicious circumstances suggesting that the Berg kidnapping was psy-op?I wasn't on any forum at that time so all I had to go on was NPR and CSPAN.

I find this whole chair thing is haunting.Everything is a mindgame with these spooks.

Can anyone tell me what Betty-Lou-Betty is holding in her hand?
Perhaps the soul of an Iraqi child?

Edited by: BajaSur at: 2/12/06 11:33 pm

Absolutley, theres a white chair in the video therefore its a Psyop.

Hmm. perhaps because there are troops dressed in desert gear, thats also proof its a psyop.

How about the fact that it was published in the News of the World, now that definitley proves its a psyop - the paper is owned by Murdoch.

A much more mundane explanation for the timing is that the News of the world wanted to get the best possible coverage for this video, just like all scumbag tabloids, and have been waiting for a time to do it. Now with a war with Iran looming, with all the war correspondents sharpening their pencils, the only way to get a clear run on this is to publish now.

And with all the cartoon stuff going on, now would be a great time to publish.

The cartoons which have upset so many muslims were actually provided to the Iranians by a bunch of Imans from Denmark. Since Denmark is taking over the EU presidency the Iranians just saw an opportunity that was to good to miss and have been waging their own, stupid, dum and utterly mad psyop.

Its not always our guys doing the psyops, and its not always our guys who are the bad guys.
