When is this rape supposed to have occurred? Watch, one of these days, these kinds of murders are going to result in the death penalty for a few of them.

While this combat commander accuses the media for our losing the war in Iraq, I find myself wondering the opposite--how much blame for atrocities such as Haiditha and the recent investigation of possible rape and murder by American soldiers can be laid at the feet of the media and military structure's failure to inform our soldiers that something has changed and they will now finally be held accountable for these crimes, regardless of how corrupt this administration is. SOMEBODY needs to bring these soldiers up to date.

news.yahoo.com/s/afp/2006...NlYwN0bWE-

"A US combat commander suggested the United States could lose the war in Iraq if public support for it at home is sapped by negative media coverage................."

Edited by: chiggerbit at: 6/30/06 8:56 pm

The media is quick to say there is no connection between the two events (beheadings and rape/murders). How do they know? I think it was biblical eye-for-eye justice. It is sickening. There is no excuse. Those dudes better watch their steps over there. They're messing around with totally different cultures of which they have no idea. Walmart bred f*tards.

"Defense officials would say only that they will not tolerate sexual assault in their ranks… "

JesUz CriSco ...
A form of denial the current crop of PTB have elevated to an art form ... Shown undeniable evidence of some awful pattern of crime and cover-up and abuses, the Usual Suspects' typical response is, "Along with the Bush Administration and all other Government agencies and officials, we absolutely condemn and do not tolerate such action or behavior at all."

The one-week scheming for the rape and murder suggests the climate of rampant violence and gratuitous lawlessness for US soldiers in Iraq was so endemic that they felt emboldened in never being questioned or held to account for such a premeditated act. This also suggests a cultivated rascism that regards Iraqis' as of having little or no value and no rights at all -- THAT'S the intrinsic reality of what the US has delivered to Iraq. Given the long-term genocide from insidious DU poisoning the Iraqi gene pool and environment, US policy is certainly showing consistency with a long dishonorable tradition of warcrimes justified as 'serving' noble ends.

What facile apologists for neo-fascism the lapdog press and polico warmongers have become -- are they really ignorant of what foul evil they are endorsing and facilitating?

Bastards, all of 'em.
Starman

Gonna be a great time when psychotic and government sanctioned assholes like this make their way back here. These recent revelations are only the tip of the war criminal iceberg.

General Winder, in charge of the infamous Civil War Andersonville prisoner of war camp, is supposed to have said, as he bowed his head in prayer at the 1865 New Year's meal, "My faith is in Christ; I expect to be saved. some officer said way they were tortured was "unnatural

Postby yesferatu » Sun Jul 02, 2006 1:22 am

Excuse me.
That is just another "genocide-with-plausible-deniability-of-genocidal-intention"
way of saying "we get to kill them because, see? they are not human like us."
It is sanctimonious spin. Do I endorse the retribution?
That is the trouble with making the argument as a "for" or "against" castrated-penis-in-mouth-stuffings.
The officer, a castrated dick himself, stuffed in the mouth of a tortured corpse media says "unnatural".
Again....ex-fucking-cuse me.
I think minding your fucking business, and suddenly being invaded and occupied by a foreign (foreign culture, language, skin, religion, fucking foreign everything) army which has no intent of leaving you to the life you lived prior....raping and pillaging, and CULLING those around you (giving you the conviction that you are to be culled in some manner as well), seeing them literally rape a girl in your neighborhood, kill her, kill her family, burn the girls body....seeing that ON TOP OF everything else......now THAT is fucking unnatural.
Again the "for it" strawman argument anyone wants to judge me with and bring to me, let me say I will stuff it right in the strawman's mouth.
Those unable to place themselves in the shoes, the lives, the misery, and the mind-snapping shock of seeing one atrocity too many...those we call neocon fasists. I call them republicans.
They are unable to comprehend THEIR own darkness. Since they are too obtuse to place themselves in the situation, I will say to them imagine this reversed....you are still you, in your shoes. Point for point, the situation is played out in your country, and point for point in this as well, the girl and her family down the street - with all it's attending overflow and biled backup of 3 years of vile atrocities upon your country and yourself and now this!!! What say you, republican????????!!!!!!
"I would report it to the nearest officer of the occupying, raping army and mind my own ever-so-decent business, and let it go."

Good fucking god.

Edited by: yesferatu at: 7/2/06 12:43 pm
