A high-profile 9/11 activist and founder of the "9/11 Truth Movement" related an experience he had that occurred during the "Summer of Truth" events held in NYC in 2004 to some people:

"...after a day of activism, when watching TV news in the apartment he was staying at, the newscaster's face on the screen dissolved into the face of a reptile..."

Previously, he claimed to have never had any paranormal experiences, he was not a "new-age" believer at all, and had also never been a drug-user.

In fact, this individual qualifies as one of the most mainstream, and pr-savy of the 9/11 activists. Due to his "mainstream" demeanor and conservative take on the evidence, he was able to arrange a number of major press contacts.

He seemed to be the last type of person in the movement who would come up with this on their own, or believe in any "reptilian conspiracy".

It's revealing to note, however -- in light of that -- that his first reaction was one of total mind-fucking, and he did not instantly default to a cointelpro-jerry-rigging of the picture, "beaming", or non-mystical cause.

It wasn't until way later that he even considered that possibility. Now, although he may have not been an expert on the history of cointelpro, he was also no dummy either -- after all he was active around 9/11 conspiracy.

Some other points worth noting is that he was a very solitary, self-funded person in their late '30's without family or a close network of outside-the-movement friends, who had seemingly thrown himself into the cause.

He was travelling alone, crashing at other people's houses. At the time he may have also been suffering from exhaustion due to the intensity of the schedule of activism and public events.

Apparently, the experience seemed to shake him up quite a bit. I can't say with conclusiveness whether it effected him negatively or not overall.
