Holy shit! CD ad plays on NY1 at 12:16:pm 10/15/05

An advertisement just played on NY1 the local cable news network that displayed the puff video and the voiceover was explaning the "steel beam falling faster than gravity can pull" scenario. I was shocked to see this. The NY audience is probably the most willing to consider other explanations, too much of the 9/11 line doesn't add up from this close perspective. As you all might know I'm from NYC and have had suspicions from day one. I was aware that "Reopen" had a campaign a while ago, but the ads were never as specific as this one was. I know nothing about the validity of the "reopeners" and I think that its a real surprise to see them get airtime. I hope their approach isn't tainted with... disinfo. There I said it, I feel even better now. Does anybody know about this campaign, the validity of their research, etc.? My heart is warming, but I am also afraid of the consequences. If this is true resistance, some people are about to get hurt, bigtime. The stakes are high, as I said the other day. Especially in NYC. firstimer

Its a local news show put on by Time Warner cable, the local cable provider for the 5 boroughs of Manhattan. In large cities, the news strategy is that there is enough news to feed a 24 hour news service. Usually cable operators will open one up channel and sell adspace between the news reports The news is 80% local and 20% national. It has been very successful in NYC so much so that there may be others coming to compete real soon (Fox), I believe there is also a Time Warner Cable news channel (M1?) in Miami, even a Spanish version. Only accesabile in the local region. It never hits the satellites. (now that I think of it, how convenient? compartmentalize, localize the propaganda) does that help? firstimer

There's a billionaire named Jimmy Walker who funds these kind of things. I imagine it's him behind this one. He funds specifically and nearly exclusively "physical evidence" stuff. He runs a weird group called Walden 3: <a href="http://www.walden3.org/index.htm">www.walden3.org/index.htm</a> I've met Walker, and he's a total wingnut. Credibility? Well, back to the building demolition conversation.

CD, yeah, um, not going there. too prickly. but its good to see anything like this in the mainstream. even if its bogus, it might get people to encounter actual info on their way looking for that info. the disinformationists are normally too stupid to realize how often that must happen nowadays.

Perhaps we need to think about that ( the obvious), before suggesting we sit there boring the average guy with a 20 point plan about stand downs, short selling stocks, able danger, Sibel Edmunds and associated other harvard graduate style stocking fillers. nice range of responses We've got the no physical evidence parroting of the Michael Ruppert line. All that I have to say is bring me all the evidence I will not play favorites and we've got the "too prickly" line. how prickly? like steel penetrating flesh? and we have the "I agree with this woman." (but not enough to spell it out yourself?) Well I wasted my time reading that shit. She doesn't support anything that doesn't stop the war on terror. Nevermind the truth, if it can't stop the war forget about it. Call me crazy, but I think the truth will stop the war, and it may be the only thing that will do it. Shes' wasting her time with anything else well I guess as long as people will at least talk about an atrocity like 9/11 we're moving forward. It pales in comparison to new things like the dead Iraqies, but we need it resolved to untangle other things. I'm a little worried about the Walker case, but I can't get over thinking that the puff might be from air pressure. Yet I still believe in CD. Now that's out there isn't it. I'm thinking that the puff video could poison the well for CD. Also, If they pulled wtc7 no reason to hide it. We (in NYC) are still bombarded with details about buildings that suffered mere scratches, and they are being dismantled amidst uproar about asbestos and shit. Never a word about wtc7. Ever since the mainstream media bought the fuel tank scenario, nary another word about wtc7. You'll never hear it. Not in the comission, not in NYC, not amongst city architects, etc. Something worth hiding is something worth finding out about. whenever I get weak I read the The Coincidence Theorist's Guide to 9/11. That re-energises me, it has a tendency to make even the most staunch believer do a spit take. Lets get that on the air I'm glad the word is getting out. Alot of people watch that channel.
