Albanese Stand with me. Today’s editorial is a shameless plea for unity and support. Time is short. Today’s headlines relentlessly warn us of a pending nuclear crisis, and the deafening drumbeats of war, and the inevitable clash of civilizations that threatens to devour us whole. Never mind that the rhetoric swirling around the Iran crisis mimics the rhetoric that swirled around the debacle in Iraq. Never mind that the facts are being skewed once again. American foreign policy appears to be executing a full-court press to conflict and oblivion. And at the bottom of this rubble-heap of American foreign policy lies the all but forgotten truth and hidden history behind the worst terrorist attacks in American history. “We will never forget,” we all vowed after 9/11. And we meant it. But sadly, 4 ½ years after the fact, 9/11 has already become commercialized, dramatized and fictionalized by such Hollywood confections as Universal Studio’s “United 93” and Oliver Stone’s “World Trade Center.” And while we can debate endlessly the degree of historical accuracy of these films, Hollywood has, for all intents and purposes, turned the tragedy of 9/11 into entertainment for the masses, and has tread upon our sacred vows. But there are those among us who know that something is seriously wrong. From the start, there are those among us who were not satisfied to simply put their trust in the ‘official story.’ There are those among us who now feel vindicated in this position because we have seen the lies and distortions and omissions. And there are those among us now who are prepared to FIGHT to preserve our right to continue to ask the relevant question. We must never acquiesce to the perceived social stigma that comes with asking questions. The victims of this crime demand it. We must never allow the simple act of demanding accountability to be equated with “conspiracy theory.” We must be relentless in demanding answers, without falling into the snake pit of competing factions of 9/11 Truth activists. Whether you believe 9/11 was in inside job, or was simply allowed to happen (on purpose), or you believe the WTC was demolished with explosives, or the Pentagon was not struck by a commercial jet, or even if you simply believe that the 9/11 Commission Report is glaringly inaccurate and incomplete – UNITE NOW! Put down your theories and UNITE! And so, it is towards this end that I humbly request your support. As the Tribeca Film Festival gears up next week in the virtual shadow of the missing WTC complex, one sole independent film will attempt to present the heavily censored facts and unanswered questions of 9/11. Premiering at the prestigious Tribeca Screening Room, founded by Robert DeNiro, Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime will at long last bring the 9/11 Truth movement into the spotlight, and provide an important milestone in the public’s ever-evolving understanding of the events of that infamous day. This film is not being screened solely for the benefit of those in attendance. This event transcends the very film itself in that it simply EXISTS. It is a statement of defiance, and anger, and challenges the mainstream media to pay attention to the growing number of Americans who are now demanding that these issues be allowed to see the light of day. I ask you all to join me in supporting this project. I ask all of you with websites and user groups and email lists and regional Meetups to brazenly utilize every resource available to you to help promote and sponsor and petition the public to recognize this event. It is time to declare victory, simply because this film exists, and demonstrates that this issue will not be silenced. Please join me in declaring the premier of this film at the prestigious Tribeca Screening Room as the most important film premier of 2006. Towards this end, little blurbs about a 'film' showing in NYC is just not going to cut it. We must either choose to fight the 9/11 Truth fight to win - or choose to continue to just nibble away at the edges, perpetually marginalized and minimized and showing our secret films in secret church basements at localized events, without ever achieving the breakout media event that could forever alter the public's perceptions. I believe the Tribeca Film Festival offers us that opportunity. The media is primed for a breakthrough on this issue. We are now seeing the beginnings of celebrity endorsements, as Charlie Sheen and Ed Asner have lent their voices to the call. The public is also ready. The polls do not lie. We have a date with destiny. Just imagine the reverberations of headlines such as these: “Tribeca Film Festival Rocked by Independent 9/11 Film” “Controversy and Passions Rise at Tribeca Film Festival” “New York Responds to Hollywood” “The Hidden History of 9/11 Premiers in Tribeca” “Independent Film on 9/11 Eclipses United 93” The odds have always been stacked against us. We need to make our own luck. United 93 has the backing of millions of dollars, represented by professional PR firms and advertising agencies and powerful corporate interests. What do we have? We have heavily censored facts, lingering unanswered questions and ultimately we have ourselves. I’m betting on us. Our questions are much more powerful than any fiction Hollywood could ever hope to dream up. And our numbers are swelling like the rising tide. Thanks, this film looks like it could be a good one (<a href="http://www.crisisinamerica.org/">website</a>: it'll be distributed for free online after the premier.) The trailer doesn't reveal much, but it does list subjects it promises to cover including foreknowledge, war games, demolition, thwarted investigations, coincidences, air defenses, Able Danger, anthrax and the 9/11 Commission.

Guess it depends on how you feel about 911truth.org. Albanese, the filmmaker is kinda hard to pin down. I guess he changed his mind about leaving the 9/11 truth movement as well as the country: <blockquote>Quote:<hr> Crisis in America America - Love It or Leave It by John J. Well, I advise you to read THIS one. This may affect many of you personally. Our group is undoubtedly being investigated. Recently, my roommate suddenly and inexplicably stopped paying her rent. She also started to avoid me - only coming home when I was at work - and leaving before I arrived home. Eventually she responded to my notes and wrote me a note back that she would be moving out within 30 days. Fine. This pissed me off to no end - but it was certainly her right. But I was still extremely annoyed that she was treating me in this way... So - eventually I caught up with her when she showed up one evening to slip into her room. She seemed almost frightened to see me. I assured her that I was fine with her decision to move out - I was not angry - but I simply wanted to know if I had done anything to upset her. Now here's the FUN part. She made little hand gestures indicating that I should follow her outside. Her body language was wrong - all wrong. We walked (very fast) and smoked cigarettes as I pumped her for the truth and eventually she mentioned that the problem was "my politics". While I was at work men showed up and questioned her about me - frightened her badly - cross examined her - warned her about me - made allegations about me (that I may be involved with violent and dangerous 'groups') and basically scared her so badly that she moved in with her parents. She also mentioned that while she was being questioned an agent was in MY room rummaging around the paperwork on my desk where my computer sits. My computer was turned on. I now wonder if my computer is infected with spy-ware. What else could they have done so quickly? Surely a search of the hard-drive would take HOURS. Why did they turn on my computer??!!! Since my computer is relatively new - I intend to restore the factory settings. But is my room bugged? Is my phone? Email? How far down the rabbit hole does this go? Please keep in mind that the entire time this story was being related to me - my roommate's attitude was one of ANGER. She mentioned, "I shouldn't even be talking to you". She ended the conversation with threats of police involvement if I did not leave her alone. She walked off - and I went home to change my shorts. In retrospect, I of course am now BURNING with anger and questions. Who were they? FBI? Secret Service? Local police? When did it happen? Before the RNC? (that would make sense- and is the probable explaination) After the RNC? (that would be a little more scary) I of course no longer have the opportunity to get any of these answers from my roommate - and I will always regret that I did not pursue those answers when I had the chance. But it really doesn't matter - does it? I have now had time to think about this. And I have made a decision. Adios Amigos!!! Its been a distinct pleasure working with all of you. Stick a fork in me - I am DONE!! Look - it has long been my intention to place a time limit on my involvement in 9/11 activism anyway. This decision has much less to do with fear - than simply desiring a new life for myself outside of the sickness that America has become. This is not all about 9/11 - or even George Bush. The movie "Super Size Me" has had as much of an influence on my decision as 9/11. Frankly, I am sick of this country's bloated sense of self-importance, cultural entitlement and suicidal self-denial. I believe George Bush will in fact be re-elected. I have long said that I would leave this country if he is in fact re-elected. And, unlike Alex Baldwin - I mean it. This last week I have taken the definitive first steps towards making that happen. I have made a definitive commitment - the details of which I do not intend to divulge to anyone. But, suffice it to say, I am definitely going. I am targeting Spring 2005 as my actual move date. The work we have all done is important - and to a large extent it has succeeded. We have planted the seeds. The questions are out there for those who care to look for the answers and to question the status quo. It is only a matter of time before history settles this issue. My feeling is that - if Americans cannot see the truth now - they never will. Let them eat McDonalds until they explode. I was never much of an organizer anyway. I have always felt that I have been politically attempting to hold back the ocean with a broom. Like it or not, history will wash over this country in its own time and in its own way. And when the day of crisis comes, there are many people - much more talented than myself - who will rise with the waters to rise to whatever challenges the tidal wave of history will bring. I for one intend to be far far away - and on higher ground. Dawn and I intend to settle down in a simple place - and with some simple and selfish goals. It is something we have wanted to do for a long time. I, of course, will not discuss any of my plans over the phone or vis-à-vis email. Forgive me, but I am now irreparably jaded, angry and thoroughly disgusted with the situation. For those of you who wish to continue the struggle - you have my deepest respect and I sincerely wish you the best of luck. You are all my heroes and friends. Some of you have been MUCH MORE INVOLVED in the 9/11 Truth movement than I ever was. Many of you are much more important than i am - and have much higher profiles in the movement (and you know who you are). My experience should be food for thought for you. If they did this to me - what did they, or will they, do to you? For those of you who work for the FBI - going over this email like the Zapruder Film (ed)- you need to think deeply about for whom and for what you are fighting - and who the real enemies of freedom are. So are you saying because he changed his mind about what he would be doing and where he would be living he's suspect? If I came home and found my belongs and computer rummaged through, I might well want to leave too. Maybe not.

A lot of these investigations into the investigators are red herrings. I don't care if charlie sheen has a restraining order against him. what does that have to do with the laws of physics and chemistry? We have to stick to the facts, the evidence and the wilful [and criminal] destruction of evidence. I feel the closer we get to our destination, the more it keeps slipping away, like Paul Simon sang.
