YESTERDAY.....<br><br>Tuesday, August 01, 2006<br>The Radio Event of the Day Award... <br><br>...in my opinion, goes to Randi Rhodes of Air America for plugging the C-SPAN broadcast, and stating her case, yet again, that NORAD was either a) told to stand down or, b) crippled somehow (terror drills?) to disable SOP that should have prevented ALL "hijacked" planes from crashing into buildings on 9/11.<br><br>Col Robert Bowman (Ret.) is sampled and played several times, his Air Force experience speaks to Randi Rhodes, (also former Air Force), and shores up her interpretation of the "failure" of NORAD on 9/11. I agree--Randi Rhodes should be on during drive time. The difference between her 911 presentation and Ed Schultz is stark. I always knew Schultz was only marginally progressive, but between the Israeli invasion and the latest 911 shows, Schultz appears ignorant to facts even when they are presented to him by his own hand-picked guests.<br> I know joe six-pack types will be more open to Schultz's show, but please... give us the true educators like Thom Hartman and Rhodes!... <p></p><i></i>

What pisses me off is that schulz is willfully ignorant. He won't examine the facts. I admit his show is on my speed dial, but only because I can't leap through the radio and shake some sense into him! I've never gotten through, BTW. <p></p><i></i>
