Helicopter, eh?
Well, maybe. If it were a very tiny helicopter. I don't think Igor Sikorsky made any that small.
Now take a deep breath and consider ALL the data available in this postage stamp sized video.

The buildings pictured are all in focus, despite substantial distance between them. This tells you that the lens is focused to infinity. An object that blurry is most likely fairly close to the camera. I helo would have to be at least a few meters away to be in focus at that setting.

Try running that clip backward and follow the path of the dark object and note that it passes in front of the top right corner of the other tower and can just barely be seen in front of the black smoke. It's hard to see but it's there.

The timing of the objects' motion seems to coincide with where the sound wave of the crash ought to be reaching the camera, much like what you see in some shuttle launch footage. The birds and bugs don't react to the light and smoke, but when the sound arrives a few seconds later, they fly like hell.

If I've missed any stories of tiny black helicopters, then please clue me in.
