don't you mean - What!? OMG! Thought?<br><br>don't you have enough to occupy yourself with at the moment, without adding subjective floaties to the mix.<br><br>anyway, don't worry; nothing to do with micronukes in suitcases, or,- have I become so blase'? - I just go 'ho hum' when someone like Chertoff threatens 'it could be worse'<br><br>was connected with that interesting spate of reports starting with the press conference where shrubby was obviously on meds, which I'm sure came out of a bottle labelled 'sad sac expression. take as needed for convincing photo ops'. then the article re:Cheney,shrubby and Rumsfield. and then Chirac. well, ok, Chirac's in a different category, but still relevant.<br><br>there's something patently 'mechanical' about all this. the moves. the timing. it's been discernible all the way along, but it's almost palpable now. what many are interpreting as 'incompetence' or 'indifference', some of us have read as just ticking items off the agenda. we're still feeling the reverberations of the last thud of the iron boot as the next one descends.<br>but something happened with N.O.. did anyone else feel this? a sense of confusion and as though the collective response was being carefully weighed and measured. it wasn't coming from shrubby&co.. it was coming from further up the food chain. did someone feel a little unexpectedly challenged? and then they snapped back into mode.<br>ok, so I'll say this too.<br>most particularly, and somewhat intensely, over the past few days or so, through the wonderful and tireless efforts of some of the contributors here, we've had the opportunity to observe, and participate in, this part of the process. observation presents the potential for perceptual, some would even term quantum, shifts. I can only hope that anyone would seek the honest intent to 'see clearly'. but whatever else you do, do 'rosin up your bow'. <br><br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>
