The biggest government WHOPPER you ever heard?

In responding to a post a few minutes ago i mentioned 4 whopping lies from government sources and repeated and regurgatated forweeks/months on end.<br><br>The 4 WHOPPERS were. Menzes (the brazillian would be 'suicide bomber') was sprinting and hurdling barriers while pursued by armed police.<br><br>He was wearing a thick overcoat.<br><br>It had wires coming out of the overcoat.<br><br>He failed to stop sprinting and hurdling barriers despite numerous vocal armed police warnings.<br><br>I stopped to think for a minute of all the known crackpot lunatic whoppers ever to be put out by government sources and the media, and my goodness, so very many.<br><br>Trying to think of the biggest government WHOPPER is not easy, there are so many.<br><br>Here is my top ten of government WHOPPERS, whats ya'lls?<br><br>In at number 10. Kuwati baby incubator whopper.<br><br>9. Satelitte photos of tens of thousands of iraqi troops ammasing on the saudi arabian border. That whopper was used to help 'support' an invasion.<br><br>8 saddams WMD are suspected of being moved onto a tanker in the gulf waters?!!!!!<br><br>7. satelitte photos of saddams mobile chemical labs.<br><br>6. The osama did it video. The one that was recived by al jazeera, yet colin powell revealed its contents 45 minutes before they even recieved it!!! the one where someone is dressed up as osama, and includes the fattest dog in asia?!!!!!<br><br>5. the we found atta's passport 'whopper' which somehow managed to leave atta's pocket on impact and float miraculasly unscathed and unburnt/syinged numerous blocks away. hehe, still got to laugh when i hear that one.<br><br>4. the 'terrorists' are bombing us because they 'hate our freedom' ? what freedom is that excatly? a freedom where you need a permit to gain access to a free speech zone?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<br><br>3. The iraqi is buying yellowcake/enriched uranium from nigeria document 'whopping lie'.<br><br>2 Saddam's troops are getting ready to lauch their chemical/gas weapons at our troops.<br><br>1. no question of the biggest WHOPPER i have ever heard from government crackpots and lunatics, and repeated every 10 minutes by mainstream medis for years on end. SADDAMS NOOOOOOKULAR weapons are ready and aimed, AND CAN REACH US IN 45 MINUTES.<br><br>The list is endless, mini whoppers coming at us all daily, from saddams WMD's being smuggled to jordan/syria/iran, im suprised they havant thrown in the saddams hidden them on the moon whopper yet.<br><br>to taxis from turkey smuggling biological weapons into iraq at the height of the american blitzkrieg of bagdad.<br><br>now anyone want a DOUBLE WHOPPER today? <br><br>8 <p></p><i></i>

Thanks for all the replies.<br><br>The bush multiple whoppers in one sentance at the UN from slimmouse is challenging for the no 1 whopper i think. about 5 whoppers in one sentance, the mind boggles.<br><br>Anti aristo, that sure is a huge whopper there, maybe they dont understand what they are saying when they swear the alligence or loyalty to the queen when they are indoctrinated, sorry i mean sworn in to the police force.<br><br>Maybe we could start a WHOPPER OF THE DAY, where all those unfortunate enough to still be in earshot of mainstream media can post it, it could act as a nice little reference source for the daily whoppers coming out of various government PR depts?<br><br>PS. the we live in a democracy must be the biggest whopper downed by so many, surely a biggest seller of whopper varieties down the years, always popular that one it seems. <p></p><i></i>
