I watched the Franklin documentary "Conspiracy of Silence" - or what's left of it, anyway - about three years ago, and for some reason it broke through years of skepticism. After that, I became voracious and it was all dominoes. I think my gut had found a way to talk to my head, because nothing felt right after 9/11. I've been aware of many of the things discussed here for a long time, but treated much of it as an amusement. These days - not so much. I think I first saw the "Coincidence Theorists Guide" at Whatreallyhappened, and that was my way in with 9/11. Which brought me here, of course.

I'm deeply ashamed to say that I actually swallowed the story, hook, line and sinker. The first spark of suspicion I had (and it was a small one) was when the Bush administration demanded that Osama bin Laden be handed over immediately by the Taliban.

The Taliban said they didn't mind, but could they please see any evidence that bin Laden was indeed responsible for the attacks?

The Americans' enraged reaction to that request, and the unbelievably savage attack on Afghanistan, deepened my suspicions.

Uri Avnery's article explaining about the UNOCAL pipeline from the Caspian oil regions through Afghanistan, made me think it was all too convenient.

Then, I was referred to "What Really Happened", then Paul Thompson's Timeline, Physics911, etc., etc.

After that, it was a slippery slope down the rabbit hole.

Sitting in the dark in a movie theater attending a conference on animation. After a while everyone in the audience started murmering, looking around nervously. My then boss leaned over to me, eyeing the display of his mobile, and told me a plane just flew into the WTC. My world froze. All that shit Id been reading in Behold A Pale Horse - was true(?!) - in my mind I saw a knight slide across a chess board and a dislocated voice echoing "check". Then in my head 3 letters flashed up - "NWO" in my own voice I heard myself say, "Its started." We continued watching the conference. Images and passages of Coopers book running through my head until I couldnt stand it. I told my boss I needed to get to a tv. He agreed. We walked out of the movie to the nearest electronics store, where a bunch of people mulled around in disbelief, watching the row of tvs. I was almost crying.

Then the other plane hit - TWO planes? This was ridiculous! That CANT HAPPEN! My brain was screaming.

When the first tower fell, I swear to god I heard a sharp, flat crack of an explosion...transmitted through a microphone in New York and relayed through sattelites halfway around the planet before emerging from the tv speaker. I swear I heard an explosion before it collapsed. As the building went down I stared in horror - I thought I was watching 100,000 of the planets finest people die. How could Cooper have been right (in BAPH he stated there was to be either a terror attack in NYC or a huge UFO event to usher in the NWO plan). Was I going insane? How could this happen? What else was Cooper right about?

Someone else mentioned Emperors New Clothes. Id been reading that for months as well. I knew in my gut it was an inside thing the second it happened. Only an american mind would be crazy enough to pull this off. Theyre the only ones who think on that scale. I doubted a middle eastern person had the "think big, really big" mentality to pull off something like that.

dude h homeslice ix - Ill meet you there, then

Edited by: 4911 at: 6/23/06 4:01 am

9/11, when a guy listening to a radio (the internet was totally hosed) said, "One of the towers just fell." I thought to myself, "Whaaaat?" About noon I saw the towers crumbling to dust straight down in their own footprint and that just made it more unbelievable. And it's gotten worse the more I've found out.

I don't want to come too clean here or seem arrogant, but I've known some pilots in my time. I know some people with long time experience in military aviation. I was aware that day that if any country was capable of intercepting an errant aircraft within its airspace...well, you know the story. So I never bought the official story. The moment that really got my goat though was watching Rummy load wounded onto a chopper at the pentagon! And you thought the "mission accomplished" speach was the greatest staged press event!

Edited by: thrulookingglass at: 6/23/06 7:43 am

Another Guy Said.....

Postby JD » Fri Jun 23, 2006 5:34 pm

The morning of 9/11 I was pretty darned focussed on the events of the day. Not working. Through the morning, after the first collapse, I went to see a colleague in his office.

He's an engineer. I said to him the tower collapsed. His response was "Oh my god; must have taken out half of Manhattan!" I said no; it just kinda crumbled into its own footprint.

He looked at me rather sternly and said "That's impossible. You're wrong. It would have to have fallen with a lateral component and would look like a tree falling from a chainsaw at about the level the planes hit."

I said that I'd seen the clip and he should see it.

He watched the building fall several times, and after a few minutes became a believer. Subsequently I've shown him anomolous information relating to the collapse which is summarily dismissed.

He has, after all, seen it on TV for himself.

A real lesson in the power of television.

My Morning 9/11

Postby JD » Fri Jun 23, 2006 5:42 pm

My morning of 9/11 was rather interesting.

I woke up at 4:30 am or so. Wish I knew the exact moment. I was AWAKE. So awake that I thought there was no sense trying to go back to sleep so might as well start my day.

Usually, I try to sleep in as much as possible. This was a very unusual thing for me; hasn't happened since.

I got to my office building way early; got my coffee just as the coffee shop was opening. I walked up the stairs to the smoking area and realized I'd forgotten my coffee lid.

I turned around, started to go down the stairs and.....

I just kinda went "blank". The experience is really hard to express. I was just kind of "out of it" for a very short period.

I "came too" to find myself falling down the stairs while holding a steaming hot coffee in my hand. I had the presence of mind to throw the coffee in front of me, and did a rather nifty front breakfall so wasn't hurt. (I knew all that Judo training would really pay one day LOL)

I helped the staff clean up the mess, they poured me a new coffee. I had a quick smoke and headed to my office only to discover........ a plane had hit the WTC.

The best I can assess without having written down times is that my "blank" moment was at the impact time.

Very weird experience. If you knew me, my habits, my tendancy to not fall down stairs or to go "blank", or wake up in the night, or even get to work on time (LOL) you'd know how weird the whole thing really is.

my 9-11 moment came a little at a time

Postby darkbeforedawn » Fri Jun 23, 2006 6:18 pm

I had a whole series of "moments" which I tried to just stash and let ride. The first one was when the towers crumbled and I kept saying "But how could they fall so fast? It was only an airplane...." Everyone pooh poohed me so I put it aside. Then the whole Bin Laden scam and the war. As I watched "shock and awe" on the tube I literally felt sick....and I repeated "but the hijackers were Saudis" Then a few years later I saw a whole series of full page ads in the NYTs
paid for by Mattias Rath, MD whose main gig usually is Paulings vitamin C cure. Anyway these ads compared 9-11 to the Reichstagg fire and Bush to Hitler. After the 04 "election" I went ballistic and tried to tell everyone I know about the fraud of the "attack" on 9-11. I didn't really use the net much before 04, but I discovered all the usual websites in about two days and that was it for me. My family wants to lock me up so probably I will be seeing the inside of some prison one way or another soon...as a previous poster pointed out. Oh well, the company will be better there I imagine...as Mark Twain said about hell.

I have a French client and he would gently push the no plane idea my way but always with a smile and a shrug. About three Christmases ago I googled it to see for myself and thus did the rabbit hole open.

Most convincing/paradigm shifting components:

1. The lack of air cover. I very quickly found the NTSB report on Payne Stewart's crash and the timeline there suggested it took less than 15 minutes for them to 'vector' fighters to his poistion.

2. The presidential entourage just hanging around at Booker Elementary. I've spent time around important people and even been tangled up in a presidential situation as Clinton moved out of a London hotel he'd been staying in, and where I worked, in about 91. The Secret Service swarmed and pushed and scanned and were feverish about everything. That Bush's security detail supposedly left him sitting around in a previously disclosed location while an unknown number of hijacked planes roamed the skies is preposterous.

3. The war games. That put a big hole in my previously held beliefs.

On 9/11 when Bush 1st appeared on TV

Postby Asta » Fri Jun 23, 2006 6:53 pm

Do you guys remember the first appearance of Bushie on TV before he hopped on AF1 and flew around the country instead of heading for DC because it was "too dangerous there" (yeah, right, they don't have any defense systems for our capital city, ya know?)

Remember how he had those school children behind him while he made his little speech to comfort us, how he said "the folks" who did this would be found and punished?

Excuse me? "The FOLKS" who did this!?!?? Like they were his delinquent nephews or something? Or those crazy McCoys down the street who were always trampling Farmer Jones' corn field?

Remember how he explained later that he didn't leave the schoolroom upon the news of the 2nd tower, but continued to listen to the reading of "My Pet Goat" because, get this, HE DIDN'T WANT TO ALARM THE CHILDREN?

But he used them as a background prop in his photo-op, now didn't he?

That was when I knew it was an inside job. While I listened to his "speech" I realized he was not enraged, he was not engaged, he was not in the real world, he was in HIS world. HIS WORLD was being ushered in, and I think he was trying very hard to act like he gave a rat's ass about OUR WORLD.

The alarms were going off in my head like screaming sirens and after I heard his little address to the Nation, I fell to my knees and cried and prayed like I have never done before, and I'm not a religious person.

I knew we were all so screwed.
