One large group of new entries this week detailed the story of Jessica Lynch, a US soldier captured and rescued in Iraq who became a media celebrity over her ordeal. However, the actual facts turned out to be very different from what was reported when the story broke. Lynch's story is covered in the Domestic Propaganda Timeline.
