It's a quote... he put the words in his own mouth. Doesn't seem too far out of context, though some might make more or less of the extensiveness and significance of the camps he's talking about. Which is to be expected.

PP- perhaps you're being confused by the lack of the quote in the transcipt.

You see that part, where it states: PARTIAL transcript.

The actual interview is much longer and the words in that little grey box were said by mr Ellsberg...Infowars did not put them in his mouth against his will.

on edit ...I see now you may have been referring to the op's use of "may have carried out".

he may not have said that, but he did imply it.

Edited by: OnoI812 at: 7/19/06 4:43 pm

In the above quote, there's nothing implicating the U.S. government in 9/11.

I'll check out the linked article.

What do the camps look like? How did you determine the purpose of the camps? And most importantly, do you have any photographs? I am genuinely interested.

"I say bring it on", I remember the last time somebody said that.

I try not to get my hopes up about much of anything anymore, especially anything tied to a particular individual. But, I have to say I am really happy about Ellsberg making this kind of statement. He can reach a lot of people that may actually be turned off by individuals with the kind of *Right wing connections as Jones or Bowman.

I also appreciate that he avoided technical discussions. While I believe that a strong case can be made against the official narrative for 9/11 based on those. In public, that kind of discussion is better left to those with the appropriate expertise. What he did speak to was the one hang up many, maybe even many on the *Left in particular, have which is the idea that even an administration as corrupt as the current one is culturally incapable of such a treasonous act.

*For the record, I hate these divisions. I believe nearly all Americans are "Leftists" in the classical sense and am annoyed that I could not figure out how to convey my point without using those terms in this way.

I'd say Alex Jones is tame by comparison.

www.sploid.com/news/2006/07/pentagon_papers.php
