I try not to get my hopes up about much of anything anymore, especially anything tied to a particular individual. But, I have to say I am really happy about Ellsberg making this kind of statement. He can reach a lot of people that may actually be turned off by individuals with the kind of *Right wing connections as Jones or Bowman.

I also appreciate that he avoided technical discussions. While I believe that a strong case can be made against the official narrative for 9/11 based on those. In public, that kind of discussion is better left to those with the appropriate expertise. What he did speak to was the one hang up many, maybe even many on the *Left in particular, have which is the idea that even an administration as corrupt as the current one is culturally incapable of such a treasonous act.

*For the record, I hate these divisions. I believe nearly all Americans are "Leftists" in the classical sense and am annoyed that I could not figure out how to convey my point without using those terms in this way.
