With all the media and hype telling us to be afraid of nukes and that oil has "peaked" , maybe it is serving as a distraction from the real double whammy coming our way. I have heard this "bird flu" has a 50% fatality rate when (and it will) it crosses the species barrier so imagine how that will totally destroy life as we know it.
