The price of treason...

Apparently not much. Here is an article about the Abramoff bribery scandal that is looming over Congress:

news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051...___dollars

Here is an interesting snip from it:
<<<The Abramoff donations dwarf those made by Keating. At least 33 lawmakers wrote letters to Norton and got more than $830,000 in Abramoff-related donations as the lobbying unfolded between 2001 and 2004, AP found.>>>
Do the math and you will see that our representatives can be bought for as little as $25,000. Let's organize a fund to pool our resources and see how much these "honorable gentlemen" charge to stack the deck in our favor!! Can you imagine a world in which the words, "of, by, and for the PEOPLE" becomes reality? I guess it's true that you get what you pay for.

And naturally this scandal ultimately ties into the much larger underlying scandal, that of the 'Military-Corporate Complex' (just google PNAC for the Imperial blueprint) involvement in 911 and the attack on Iraq. Look at who profits from this war and their close ties to our leaders. They have succeeded in corrupting government absolutely. To the point where we practically outsource our war machine to them.

The influence of Israel on our foreign policy (Larry Franklin- <a href="http://rightweb.irc-online.org/rw/35 ">rightweb.irc-online.org/rw/35 represents the highest treason of all, betraying your country's security to enhance the security of another country. Pacs, like the AEI and AIPAC have relentlessly pursued Israeli interests for many years. As a result, we now have our very own Gaza Strip.

Not to mention the coming business model for America: Walmart. The richest corporation in the world encourages it's workers to supplement their meager income by begging for government (AKA, Taxpayer) handouts. If we don't rid ourselves of this Corporate Theocracy, they will bleed us until we are just another Third World country.

Combine these ingredients with a strangely complicit media
www.canofun.com/blog/vide...ov2005.wmv
and what you have is a coup d'etat in which the quaint notion of Democracy becomes a distant memory.

But wait!!! Not all is lost. It appears just possible that they may be slain by the poison of their own incompetence, greed. I read somewhere recently that the word NeoConservative has become radioactive in DC. If true, it could mean the end of Wolfie, Bolton, Cheney, Rummie, Abrams, Feith, etc.
Now I understand the Colonel Kurtz line in Apocalypse Now, in which he called the American leadership "shopkeepers". This gang of psychopathic con-men have sold us down the river for thirty pieces of silver. All the time, wrapping themselves in the flag and holding a Bible...
