Exdcellent article

"For a long while Northern Ireland's other parties, unionist and nationalist, have resented the direct relationship between Blair and Adams - as if the real negotiation comes down to the two of them - and now, once again, they see the interests of those two men converge. Both seem reluctant for the truth to come out - but on this shared goal, if no other, they should fail. Northern Ireland has lived in the dark too long."

He's implying exactly what I said, Adams is working for MI5. I saw a BBC documentary praising Adams to the skies with commentary from several former MI5 people.

Sein Fein is power sharing in Stormont and they essentially run the catholic part of NI. That's as good as they were ever going to get. Adams got an excellent deal and I'm sure he prefers that to being dead !!

I happen to think he's got it a bit wrong, it's more subtle than that. All the people opposed to negotiations with the IRA apparently died in that VERY mysterious helicopter crah on the Mull of Kintyre.

I don't think people at that level are prejudiced against anyone that will help them get their own way. In my opinion what they want is direct rule from London which they've had since Bloody Sunday (give or take a few disfunctional months of the assembly).

So, it's not that they're against Sinn Fein, they put Sinn Fein in power, but with the opposition being the DUP, Stormont will never be able to function and direct rule will continue ad infinitum. Game, set and match to the Shadow Government. If they discredit Republicans they have a stronger case

I think Blair is in on this , remember the IRA bank robbery nonsense, he certanly went along with that plus the guy who was killed in the pub. Blair is probably playing the innocent "nothing to do with me, Gerry" act to Adams.

The Provos have been shafted.

Everyone should be looking at this. There are three main aspects.

1) The intense interference by the security services throughout the years.

2) The total infiltration of even the very cellular IRA (forget fighting the Anglo American state, you'll lose)

3) The way MI5 created the scenarios for the government to react to (Omagh, Stormontgate etc)
