Summary of last 3 classes.

- Off Topic rant about Larry Summers leaving Harvard.
Mostly a rant against political correctness, I didn't mind.
Touched on Harvard's "Corporation", the 7 in charge of the 20+ billion endowment...recommended Bob Rubin for new president of H.

- Rest of class about the dynamics of epidemics (as it relates to the spread of ideas). Vector, agent, host, reservoir. Probability of infection per contact, rate of acquisition, duration of infectious period. Stressed the need for vaccinations. Obviously, WHA is trying to "vaccinate" us to conspiracies. He didn't go there, of course. Then some "Tipping Point" ideas re: salesmen, etc.

- Then some crap relating to Summers's notion about men and women. Normal distribution, two intersecting bell curves.

- Then he talked about apophemia -- seeing patterns where none exist. WHA: "This is the whole idea of conspiracies" Correlation not necessarily = causality...WOW, what a revelation. [yawn] Talked about chance, bias, confounding...blah.

Some juicy WHA tidbits:
- WHA is skeptical of peak oil, of the notion that oil is a nonrenewable resource.
- WHA thinks the "CIA created HIV" CT is especially pernicious, that the KGB invented that CT.
- MRI guy points out that the existence of secret organizations that keep dossiers on people like Lennon and MLK encourages CT. WHA surprisingly suggests that JFK and Lennon conspiracy theorizing is "not a crazy thought".
- WHA brings up underground bases and tunnels. Tries to paint them as fantasies of alien obsessives, someone insists that they exist. Class jokes and laughs, WHA interrupts the mirth and sobers the class. He says that his good friend headed the Continuity Project, then he curses "Hansen the traitor" for ruining it.
- Someone brings up John Mack, WHA says he was a good friend, then laments Mack's turn toward alien abduction stories.
- WHA has ideas about visiting Dulce, NM to "see what it's all about" and has jokingly (?) requested that if any of us go there, to give him a report.
- Talks about Area 51 as a "huge underground Air Force experiment", says its existence and the extreme $$$ involved makes people wonder what the gov't could be testing.

- Brings out the usual tripe about conspiracies being unlikely because of the # of conspirators and accomplices needed + the chance of anybody squealing. Says real conspiracies are limited. Of course, he doesn't define "limited" and he ignores the power and scope that conspirators would possess.
- WHA: "Sometimes crazy people do get it right"
- Someone mentions chip implants, and in the course of poo-poo-ing that WHA describes the implant victims as being "interrogated remotely". Struck me as specialized language, like maybe he has experience with it.
- Talked about the effect of the internet on CT. CT is diffused faster, but also defused faster -- "debunked, evaporated" vs. "generated". Says that "unfortunately, the truth is not an effective defense" against CT. Note the possible connotations of that. LOL.
- MRI guy PWN3D WHA with a comment that Western religions encourage teleology and apophemia, and therefore encourage CT.
- WHA says he's been in meetings with two dozen or so people of varied security clearances, in which he's thrown out ideas and been SHHH'd because unbeknownst to him, his idea was classified.

Next class:

- Midterm questions:
1. Question about "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"
2. What does "Cui Bono?" mean?
3. Discuss "there are no coincidences" vs. chance, bias, confounding.
4. Describe the Solomon Asch and Stanley Milgrim group psychology experiments.
5. Come up with a question on your own.

I'll decline for now to say which ones I answered because I don't want to give too much about myself away just yet. I did get an A, however. I thought for sure I'd get a C. Meh, I guess I'm kind of smart after all.

- This class (after the exam) dealt with the nature of humor, how we conspiracists have no sense of humor (BS), how all humor is either affiliative or ostracizing (BS).

Next class:

- Discussion of the Lincoln assasination, as a "real conspiracy". WHA presents a diagram and timeline of Booth and his accomplices as the conspiracy, says it demonstrates how a real conspiracy is compact in time and space. Touches on some alternate, more expansive theories. Barely acknowledges the damning evidence that is Booth's calling card to Andrew Johnson. Uses "international bankers", the Vatican, and Masons as strawmen. Doesn't even bother mentioning Booth's trip to see Jacob Thompson the Confederate intel chief in Montreal, where Surrat the Confederate secret agent also was, or that Albert Pike the Masonic Confederate general had also fled to Canada and then later so famously promoted Johnson as a Freemason and got pardoned. WHA does talk about Stanton's strange behavior...but ignores the LaFayette Baker cipher.
- WHA: the underlying dynmaic of CT = how can we connect our enemies to bad events. [vomit]
- Then he opens up the JFK assassination door.
Mentions that he was in an appendix to some JFK assassination theorist's book, which is just a list of AFIO members. I've seen that before. I guess he wasn't named especially as a suspect. Oh well.
- Does say that he wasn't "a particularly big fan of JFK".
- Kept insinuating that LHO was a communist. Says there's no evidence that LHO was a CIA/FBI agent. Uggggggggh. I wanted to pull my hair out. Claims to have never seen evidence that JFK wanted to pull out of Vietnam. Claims to have never heard of Lee Bowers. Says LHO and Ruby just "wanted to be bigshots". The JFK assassination is a huge litmus test for me, and WHA failed it miserably. He's a dreadful, lying spook. I mean, of course he is. I didn't expect anything more.
- WHA was asked by someone why there were so many neuropsychiatrists at Gitmo, WHA says he was the "chief of neuropsychiatry" but the only one there. I'm glad somebody hinted at this old bastard's evilness. I wanted to raise my hand so many times but refrained, and that one time I wish I had. I've kept pretty quiet, and it's been tough on the nerves. I seem really outnumbered, anyway...but WHA knows there are conspiracists "lurking" in the class. And there are at least a dozen, just from looking at the exasperated faces.

So...can anyone tell me who was the head of the Continuity Project?
