A Time For Ignorance

I have become convinced that it truly is now a time for ignorance. I completely understand "how that ignorance" works, here at R.I. It works like this: when a poster or posters are going somewhere that the majority of us don't want to go, we simply "ignore" their posts. It's happened to me before, and it could easily happen again. I can deal with it, so now; let's see if AnnaLivia and her alter ego, sceneshifter can live with it.<br><br>I'm NOT against their hearts' desire to see a fairer, more perfect world, I just don't see it happening in any way, without the intervention of some "outside of humanity" force intervening in "the affairs of men" (and women). Apparently, "they" still believe that the "intervention of mere humans" can still make a difference. I, however DO NOT!!!<br><br>Therefore, since I courageously started this thread, I will state here and now (for the record, slimmouse), that I will respond to anyone who wishes to post a disagreement with my personal opinion on this subject; WITH ONE EXCEPTION!!! I, myself, will not post any answers to AnnaLivia, or sceneshifter, OR ANY NEWLY REGISTERED POSTER whose prose, typeface, or "wallpapering whining" about the WAY THINGS ARE financially, economically, etc. even SMELL like one of those two.<br><br>Do You Understand The Words That Are Coming Out Of My Mouth (CPU)????????<br><br>Fed Up Floyd<br> <p></p><i></i>

Fed Up Floyd, I agree with you, but you can't expect to convince folks who don't want to agree with you. That doesn't mean that well-meaning people can't have the dream of a perfect world and try to find a way to achieve it. i see it like a metaphor i once read somewhere,<br><br>an archer trying to hit a target at a certain distance has to aim a lot higher,<br><br>thats it really, like world peace, we cant reach it, but we have to aim for it against all the forces that shit on it,<br>so that what we get is better than if we didnt try at all,<br><br>i dont think anyone of real intellect who wrote about utopia believed it was achievable, just the best thing to aim for<br> <p></p><i></i>

I always make time for ignorance! But seriously, we are stuck in our human natures, in the human condition. If we start with ourselves, we can do alot of good. It's trying to control others that gets us into trouble, I think. I know every day i try really hard to be good, but I fail. But smithtalk is right, it is wise to aim very high. <p></p><i></i>

The ignorant are waking up by the millions, in some form or shape they realise that politicians compulsively lie to them, big business has no care to the customer, only corporate shareholders, thye know the biggest crimes are always committed in the board rooms of big business. <br><br>People know the security services are by and large complety corrupted by the systems above, the police the same. <br><br>Food, medicine, water, energy all corrupt. <br><br>We are breaking the imperialist chains that bound us and that is the most dangerous time for subversives and the general populace...aim high, is very good advice. <p></p><i></i>

Read marykmusic & dragon's posts; see what They think (about Life, The Universe, & Everything), and then don't bother to call me back! I'll have my people call your people.<br><br>Here, though, is EXACTLY WHY I will give your post above NO RESPECT at ALL on "this board". FYI, there are many, Many, MANY here who posit just this: That aliens "created' us, seeded "This Island Earth" with us, and, they not only meddle into our "mere human" affairs, they are going to come back very soon and do one of three things.<br><br>1. They're going to fix everything that's wrong with us, and that we have done wrong to "mother earth".<br>2. They're going to "take back possession" of their celestial Stockyard, and begin seriously using us for dinner.<br>3. They're going to look on their "mis-creation" with extreme disgust and DESTROY our WHOLE PLANET, because, in their "higher order" judgement, its what we richly deserve.<br><br>The reason for my above rant is that many of these posters truly believe that this is "SCIENCE, NOT Religion"!!!
