The government has not the slightest desire to suppress ideas that the world is headed for apocalyptic global warming, or apocalyptic global cooling, or apocalyptic polution of the environment, or apocalyptic shortage of oil, or apocalyptic viruses, or apocalyptic terrorists trying to kill us all, or an apocalyptic U.S.S.R. (or Iraq, or now Iran) waiting to nuke us, or an apocalyptic invasion from outer space, or any other similar apocalyptic ideas. It's the government that invents, promotes and funds such ideas in the first place. What better way to massively socially re-engineer world society than to convince the masses that the sky is going to fall at any near moment unless the government steps in to run all our lives, requiring massive increases in funding and power for the government in the process?<br><br>Due to certain evidence surrounding this case, it looks like this unfortunate man who was murdered by filthy, demonic pigs was a patsy who had his mind tampered with via some form of MK-Ultra-like conditioning. Get him screeming about the government harassing him and trying to supress information he has on global warming and then next thing you know the jackboots come in and outright assassinate him in front of lots of witnesses.<br><br>Because it does certainly look to be such an outright assassination, it couldn't be played up too much in the major media. No, this production would, at least directly, be intended for an "alternative" audience--many of whom in this demographic would be among the most receptive to the apocalyptic global warming message and concurrantly the idea that the government might kill to suppress such information. The idea that the government would try to suppress information on such doomsday global warming would give the message more prima facie credibility, since where there's smoke there's fire, and if the government's trying to cover it up then obviously it's true. More importantly, indirectly, such a production (and others like it) would be intended for the masses, as faint retellings of it and things like it lodge in the psyches of more and more people.<br><br>Get the masses thinking that we're all going to drop dead unless the government takes the steps necessary to save mankind, but that the government is reluctant to take the drastic steps necessary (of which steps just so happen to give the government massive increases in funding, power, and control). So the government appears to be put on the spot as having to be dragged kicking and screeming while forced into doing something it doesn't want to do (i.e., receiving more funding, power, and control). Of course, what I'm getting at here is called reverse psychology. In this manner, it wouldn't appear as much to the masses to be a shameless grab for power.<br><br>As to how the government could get a person such as Robert ("Woody") Woodward to start raving about information on doomsday global warming that the government is terrorizing him about in order that it be suppressed: Woody's name could have come up as a individual highly interested in such issues, and hence potentially suggestable on the matter (whether via the ECHELON surveillance network, or some friendly government agent dropping a tip off about him). Further profiling would probably have been used to see if he would likely be suggestable enough.<br><br>Once he was found to be a suitable candidate, he could have been passed some seemingly explosive information from a source made to appear credible to him. The information would be apocalyptic in its implications, with a warning from the source not to reveal his (or her) identity lest he (the source) be killed. This would put Woody in the position of being the holder of secret information upon which the fate of the world rests; information that the government would kill to suppress--a heady and easily paranoia-inducing position to be in, to say the least.<br><br>Then the actual real-life government harassment of Woody would start. He might hear weird clicks on his phone that he had never heard before. Some of his mail might arrive having already been opened. He'd likely get threatening phone calls. He would be visited by government agents who would scare the living shit out of him the night before he went to the church to request "political asylum" (see

That last incident would be the straw that broke the camel's back and caused Woody to have a psychotic break in fear for his life, and in fear of a fate worse than mere death: that of methodical torture, before being killed.<br><br>After the visit from the not-so-friendly government agents, Woody would be absolutely convinced that he was going to experience the most gruesome torture and death imaginable, and soon. At that point he was a man who had nothing to lose by dying, except undergoing horrific torture.<br><br>It's the visit the night before Woody's death at his appartment by the two men who neighbors maintain were apparently government agents which strongly indicates to me that Woody was not a mere nut, and that he was in actual fact being harassed by the government; and hence that he had indeed been mentally tampered with towards a certain goal.<br><br>You may wonder why I call a seemingly simple mind-game process as the above, such as I believe could very well have been played on Woody, "MK-Ultra-like conditioning." Let's not forget that MK-Ultra also involved drugging men's drinks in order to catch them on film in compromising positions with prostitutes. Such a simple trick doesn't usually fall within most people's notion of "mind-control." So why was the CIA interested in such a base trick as part of MK-Ultra? Because the government doesn't so much care about the "mind" part so long as they have the "control" part. Thus, it's not so much important that a compromised politician (or judge, or district attorney, or coroner, or police chief, or major media owner, etc.) believes in the cause which he's been blackmailed into, just so long as the dirt on him is good enough that he dare not ever step too far out of line. Hence, it wasn't necessary that Woody be hooked up to electrodes in a laboratory while dosed up on powerful psychotropics in order to cause him to go off the deep end. Although in Woody's case, due to such a mind-game process, he would have genuinely believed that the fate of the world rested in his hands and that a future far worse than death soon awaited him. <p></p><i></i>
