Either rehabbing Nixon's image -- so as to make his appear resignation unnecessary and by extension make any impeachment against bush appear appear similarly unnecessary -- is one of the right wing media's new memos that's going around, the MND guy reads and paraphrases Ben Stien (b/c whatever MND guy is, he's not a scintillating intellect), or both. <p></p><i></i>

..that's my phrase for commentators who adhere to formulaic right-wing cliches, allergic to any factual detail and reportage that doesn't support their prejudices, adding little or no thought or observations of their own to the parroting of their "opinion leaders." Malven at the MND blog is a textbook case. <br><br>I don't have much use for Left Political Correctness, either, but in my experience, that problem is less acute. Even the Leftists I find most offensive, annoying, or outright wrong in their interpretations simply tend to be better journalists.
