It has been written (convincingly) that Nixon was removed because he had decided to make a legacy for himself, close out Vietnam, establish ties with China, no more war. He was of Quaker blood wasn't he?<br><br>LBJ was also removed; he apparently had serious misgivings about the fake war too, so he had to go. One cannot believe that a dedicated egotist like Johnson would ever willingly give up in the middle of a two-term presidency.<br><br>War. That is the key. To keep the presidency one had to make war according to the needs and wishes of the puppeteers.<br><br>Defeating the war party is way more difficult than the war party defeating the peaceniks, which is why it has taken so long, an why it will mean a massive housecleaning if it is possible at all.<br><br>It looks like Fitz and the rest have a nice tight plan in place to accomplish this - gawd I hope it works. <p></p><i></i>
