Georgia Guidestones?

Postby Dreams End » Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:15 pm

Has anyone heard of these? Large monument constructed under instructions of one "R.C. Christian" in Georgia. They contain the following guidelines for humanity. The explanations are evidently also part of the text sponsored by "Christian" but I'm unclear whether they appear on the stone monuments or on some explanatory material....

It is not clear who really is behind these, but the name "R.C. Christian" could hardly have been chosen for any other reason than to suggest Rosicrucian connections.

Those of you who know my interest in the message of "population reduction" as a tenet of New Age fascism will get why I'm posting this:

Quote:

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

Note: Means the entire human race at its climax level for permanent balance with Nature.

Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.

Note: Without going into details as yet undiscovered, this means humanity should apply reason and knowledge to guiding its own reproduction. "Fitness" could be translated as "health." "Diversity" could be translated as "variety"

Unite humanity with a living new language.

A "living" language grows and changes with advancing knowledge. A "new" language will be developed "de novo" - and need not necessarily be adopted from any languages now in existence.

Rule Passion - Faith - Tradition - and all things with tempered reason.

"Faith" here may be used in a religious sense. Too often people are ruled by blind faith even when it may be contrary to reason. Reason must be tempered with compassion here - but must prevail.

Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

Courts must consider justice as well as law.

Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.

Individual nations must be free to develop their own destinies at home as their own people wish - but cannot abuse their neighbors.

Avoid petty laws and useless officials.

Self explanatory.

Balance personal rights with social duties.

Individuals have a natural concern for their personal welfare, but man is a social animal and must also be concerned for the group. Failure of society means failure for its individual citizens.

Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.

The infinite here means the supreme being - whose will is manifest in the working of the cosmos - if we will seek for it.

Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.

In our time, the growth of humanity is destroying the natural conditions of the earth which have fostered all existing life. We must restore reasoned balance.

A Rainy Night in Georgia

Dreams End, I have, indeed come across a few websites that were "outing" the Georgia Guidestones, but it was 8 or 9 months ago. I read what they had to say, and am not disparaging your post. BUT, if you have seen the stuff more recently, why don't you post a link or two, so that any of the rest of the R.I.ers, new or old, who have not heard or read of this "anomaly" (think "2001 A Space Odyssey"), can read for themselves, what is being said (and shown in photos) about this Abomination to Freedom? Oh yeah, BTW, whoever the hell this guy, R.C. is/was, he for sure ain't no Christian!!!

........Smootsy

guidestones

Postby mother » Sun Dec 18, 2005 8:46 pm

I've known about these for years. There are probably photos avaiable online for those who know how to post images. There's some legend about the mysterious man who placed them, but not a very interesting one. "They" are super interested in population reduction(as long as it's not them or their superior bloodline, presumably). I remember the first time I learned of them how frightened I was, it was so very Robert H.ugh Bensonesque. I wondered, why Georgia, but figured it is so unlike DC where everybody is aware and questioning and politically savvy, a stunt like that would have raised questions at that time. (Now most people seem so dazed and apathetic you could get away with anything, and they do) There have been rumors that Atlanta is scheduled to become the Nation's Capitol at some point, but who could possibly know. Who knows what's up in Elberton, Ga.? They've been there for 25 years, but thank God the plan to eliminate 9/10 of all people has so far been unsuccessful.

I'm stuck in Windows using Internet Explorer and I'm finding I don't know how to capture images as I do in Firefox. Here's a link though.

www.tylwythteg.com/guide/.../guide.gif

The above site is one of people who find spiritual significance to these stones. I find them yet another reminder of the fascist new age population reduction agenda, so no need to worry about disparaging this post.

I did run across a few sites "outing" the stones, but I found them hysterical and not really researched. I'm interested in their connection to Rosicrucianism and the whole Blavatsky/Bailey New Age movement.

Aha. Just looked at the source code to get the image tag and appended it to the url. What a pain. I'd ask how to do it quicker but I so rarely have to use IE that there's no point.

In case any one doesn't know, the scale of these stones is HUGE. Looks like a good place for paintball games, or trying out the new guns the boys got for Christmas.

The Missing Link

Postby Floyd Smoots » Sun Dec 18, 2005 10:04 pm

DE, I have Firefox here at home and at work. I'm the only one there, out of 8 internet-connected computer users who uses it. Most of the rest of the "sheeple" are just lazy and truly apolitical. There are two good friends who think they follow politics, but in spite of their really good high-speed connections at work, and at home, in both cases, they get their news from the local paper, the Norfolk, Virginia "The Virginian-Pilot", and the ABC-NBC-CBS news.

One, who is 63, will at least listen to what I share with him from the net, and agree with most of it. The other, 56, retired U.S. Navy, who really is a good friend, thinks that "All This CRAP", which you, Jeff, and I (and all the rest of you out there) have learned is nothing more than the usual left-wing liberal LIES. HE still thinks that the "Resident" gives a damn about the (long gone) "Repubic" (sic). In his world-view, I, one of his best work buddies, am a "Certified Tin-Hatter"!

P.S., the click-on-me link didn't work on my Firefox. Could be your mistake, could be outside interference. Not sure at this time.

To mother, or, it could make a nice training ground for some good ol' C-4!!! (LOL)

Y Tylwyth Teg (named after the Welsh terms for the fairy folk) have had a bad reputation in the pagan commmunity for a few years, for allegedly plagiarizing from many other pagan writers.

Some accusations against them can be found here: www.outofthedark.com/Plagiarized/

and a response by Y Tylwyth Teg is here:

www.tylwythteg.com/OUTERB...ize21.html

I've been a member of Covenant of the Goddess for most of the past 6-8 years or thereabouts (I'm on hiatus at present as my membership category has changed and the by-laws require a re-application), and I'm inclined to find that COG members are articulate and trustworthy. If any of them have got a beef against YTT, I'd take it seriously.

I don't think YTT have any actual connection with the site other than having it be a local feature they use occasionally.

I started a thread at CTC about these a few months back. The weirdest thing I found may or may not be related. From the thread:

The person who commisioned the construction apparently authored a book called "Common Sense Renewed". Maybe the following is influenced by it, or is even unrelated, but there's some very odd parts to this prose:

Losing Of Cool

When sanctimoniously I declare
The world to be a bed of amity,
With love and goodness everywhere
It is then comes some calamity.

Quite without alarm
Pandora’s woes slither into view
I lose all my charm.
Actually I begin to spew

The words of lucifer, himself,
When circumstances
Unhinge me from my shelf.
I am besieged with devil dances

And quickly become quarrelsome,
and malcontent. You’d best be wary
Foe or chum,
My behavior is contrary.

It’s best to flee
Leave me to me.

And I will dig my tunnel to nowhere
Until with common sense renewed
Through pace of time’s patience
Or saged counsel heeded.

O silly soul if only life were joy alone
And I eternally juiced with equanimity,
Then I could ever cast my stones on you
And be justified in all my enmity.

But alas – I am oft ridden by fear itself
It’s best my castings saved for self.

© February 9, 2002
Kathryn McL. Collins

www.akenglish.com/KCollin...try_1.html
_____________________

Another resource:

www.radioliberty.com/stones.htm

"The story of this combined Stonehenge and Rosetta Stone goes back two decades when an unidentified man walked into Elberton Granite Finishing Company and announced that he represented a "small group of Americans who seek the age of reason."

The Age of Reason was a book written by Thomas Paine. www.theresistancemanifest...page&pid=5

Common Sense Renewed

In 1986 a little known book was published titled Common Sense Renewed. The author used the pseudonym Robert Christian, and admitted to being the man behind the mysterious monument. The book explains, “Robert Christian” is the pseudonym of a private American citizen who is concerned about the growing evidence of a decline in the political and economic strengths of our country. It goes on to explain that the first two printings of Common Sense Renewed were sent to several thousand political officials and shapers of public opinion throughout the world, and all members of the United States Congress.

Aside from admitting “Robert Christian” is the author and sponsor of the Georgia Guidestones, he explains that he “has chosen to remain anonymous in order to avoid useless controversy and better focus attention on his thoughts rather than on himself.”

The book is dedicated to Thomas Paine (a Deist); author of Common Sense, hence the title. On page six, the author explains one of the purposes for the monument saying, “The hearts of our human family must be touched and warmed to welcome a global rule by reason.” (Christian, Robert - Common Sense Renewed p. 6)

I kow it's not directly related, but these stones remind me alot of the High Weirdness at the Denver International Airport, another In Your Face display..

masonic art

I agree, absolutely masonic in the banality of design, the huge dullness and oppression. It brings the Denver eyesore to mind to me also.
