McCain, Rice, or Bill Clinton to replace Cheney? <br><br>I've said before on this board that I have no doubt HW would sacrifice his son W at some point. I have also speculated that the shooting incident may spell the begining of the end for Dick. The wild card here is the month of March, and what happens herein - perhaps get March/April plans launched, then remove the administration? <p></p><i></i>

Perhaps it would be bad for them, and so it wouldn't be done, but I'm not so sure...<br>wouldn't this be as big in the eye's of many as any other tragic presidential death/killing of the king? He'd make a great scapegoat seems to me. Wouldn't the wayward republicans currently not happy with him suddenly get all misty-eyed and swoony for the memory of their little beloved boy king, murdered by those stinking terrorists.... wouldn't the media fall over backward lauding the praises of dearly departed dubya? The cultural/social impact would be very ugly.<br>Then a sad but vengeful Jeb's way would be paved for Dick to appoint him VP then resign himself or die as well from 'stress aggravating his heart condition' (thus making him a bit of a martyr too). We'd be in total coup takeover mode phase 2 with loss of most of the current momentum to reverse the coup. and we'd be crusading for real before long. Combine this with the timing of a major attack in the US (which we're supposed to be all afraid of happening any minute) and it would be overwhelming.
