Interviewed in 2002, Lana Padilla said she was not aware of any relation to Jose Padilla. Lana Padilla's surname came from a former marriage. There is no evidence to suggest that Leonard Padilla, Lana's ex-husband, is related to Jose Padilla in any way. In my personal opinion as a former 20-year California resident ( i.e., I've seen a lot of Mesoamericans ), Jose Padilla looks very little like that sketch. In searching around on the OKC bombing I ran across this retired Tulsa cop's webpage on the crime. Bet he was a detective because he includes this outline of how he examined the event.
