Not likely. He stands to gain money if the dollar falls. Of course, that does not necessarily mean that he wants to see the dollar crash. But it does pay handsomely.

www.forbes.com/free_forbe...0/036.html

Thanks for posting this; i've been wondering tonight what to make of Buffett's announcement. I still don't know, but something needs to be made of it.

And welcome to the board. I see you wanted initially to post in the "Economics" section, but that's actually part of the archives. The active, general discussion goes on here.

So Buffet shelters his money and Berkshire-Hathaway bets against the Dollar. Now he's in with Gates.
Preparing a firewall against the next great depression?
Remember, Buffet was hosting a huge meeting of top CEO's (some who should have been in their desks at the World Trade Center) at Offut A.F. Base on 911, Which is where they Flew Bush after the Florida classroom incedent...

Hey commienews. Thanks for the article. Please don't attempt to post in other "sections" for the following reasons.

1. They are archives and Jeff is the one who puts them there which leads to...

2. People won't see them for the most part, unless they are looking for them.

Thanks for posting. Here I was thinking Gates had simply reassessed his life and wanted to do some good in the world...

heh.
