Maybe, just maybe, the surprise could be something outside that petty US political squabbling. Maybe even so far outside that box that it goes unnoticed by those most awaiting it. For instance, if Belgium nuked Japan or if Finland invaded Denmark, would it make a blip on the radar over there? Not unless it radically affected oil, or other market prices I suspect. Would the red or blue states be jumpng to defend Japan or Denmark? Only if they're told which way to jump.<br><br>The October surprise will probably be that nothing happens because the disaffected US is too lazy to get off it's fat ass and make something happen!<br><br>Maybe. <p></p><i></i>
