Thanks for the tip, sunny. I won't be able to listen; I hope someone can post an update if he has something important to say. A few weeks ago I heard from a source that Gannon's dissassociative, reads RI and has posted comments annonymously. If true, I wonder which Gannon will show up.

All of this--widening sex scandal with Foleygate, Gannon going on tv, the restarting of Goschgate all look like someone, somewhere is tightening the screws. Someone who has an inordinate control of the media itself. Now if I were what DE says I am, I would say the agents of a small middle eastern country need a certain job done NOW. And what better way to insure its accomplishment in America than sexual blackmail? Does everyone have a big supply of No-rad? Looks like nuke time to me....

If Jeff Gannon is DID, he has my sympathy. Well, he would have had more of my sympathy if he hadn't been a Republican. I'm pretty sure that is true for most on the left. Because Gannongate wasn't really about Jeff Gannon, it was about the effect on politics of the hypocrisy of Republicans towards gays, their hatred of gays. Those of us on the left loved watching the ones on the right squirming over their gay phobia. In my own way, I guess I abused his almost as much as some reicher, because I enjoyed watching them squirm at his expense. I do hope he came through it all ok.

Chig I recently heard statistics that made those look low. 1 in 3 girls, 1 in 4 boys. It was a few months ago on the radio so probably on some "Australian abc" radio show.

I questioned the stats myself as I was reading them, Joe. The females in prison stat seemed particularly low. I seem to remember for men in prison that it was something like 80%, although my memory might be a fault. And even that one I thought was somewhat low, as many of those macho men don't like to acknowledge anything they've experienced that might even remotely be seen as "gay" (more sexual abuse of boys is by men than women). As an aside on that one, I remember back in my college days many, many years ago, a prof said that 25% of prostitutes on the streets of NY were from Minnesota. I always wondered how that came to be, assuming it was accurate. A matter of networking? I very much doubt that Minnesota citizens molest their children at rates any higher than the US average. Maybe the pimps just liked those blonde, blue-eyed kids.
