Yes, the beaches are nice -- but it's the sex industry which makes this nation a popular travel destination. Suddenly, the image 'fits'.<br><br>What ELSE would a smugly self-righteous, priveleged WASP-elite bloated bloviating hypocritical windbag slimeball be DOING in the Dominican Republic (where a lot of Bushista Gang obligations and payback have occurred), anyway? Checking out investment opportunities?<br><br>Makes one wonder how many faux-'family values' American political elites vacation in the Dominican Republic to take advantage of their 'special' services.<br><br>With so much poverty, chances of reforming the child-sex racket there are probably slim-to-none. If we're ever going to have a chance to rise above the people we despise, we must first stop sinking to their level, because at every step, when we descend to the ugliness we designate as their sole domain, we shatter the concept of 'us' as a morally superior body..<br><br>Cold Comfort doesn't taste half as good as we all think it does..And I truly hate myself when I knee-jerk with glee at every provocation that lands these assholes in trouble..<br><br>They deserve derision, no doubt.
