the observation is real, even if the scientific analysis is somewhat pointless. all this study proves is you don't remember a split second after you've been startled.<br><br>when you're surprised, your brain is busy trying to make sense of it.. so attention is taken away from sensory input for a short moment. this is hardly a new observation, but if you need scientists to point out the obvious...<br><br>"Did you say something?
